Ohhh thank you for that information! I think we might apply for the PR travel document just in case to be safe! But thats what happens if he doesnt have his PR card, the airline may just make him sign a form saying that he realizes that he might not be let in to canada? But then he can show his COPR thats stapled into his passport at Pearson Airport in Toronto?

You guys shouldn't be worried too much about it! Yeah, although you show your COPR letter to the airline, they will still make you sigh on a form saying that they have absolutely no responsibility if he would be made to send back at Pearson Airport in Toronto, I mean if only your fiance purchases a one-way ticket to Canada. But sending him back is not going to happen since you guys have landed recently. Just say to the officer that you haven't received PR card yet. This is from my friend who got PR early this year and she went back to Korea as soon as she got the COPR letter and she stayed in Korea for about 2 months and came back to Van without PR card. She was all worried but she wasn't asked much. All she did was to show her COPR letter and said she hasn't received her PR card yet. So she didn't have any problems in Canada but she said the airline made her sign that they have no responsibility if she is sent back home by the immigration officer in Canada. The airline told her that If she doesn't want to sign the form then the airline wouldn't let her get on board. And another couple who landed in Nov went to Korea and came back to Canada in Dec. without PR card. They didn't have any problems either. They also showed their COPR letter. So you guys are good! Have wonderful time in Korea!!!

We have similar response from IRCC. Thats response was Nov. 30.

The application was received at the Case Processing Centre in Mississauga (CPC-M), Ontario, on January 26, 2016.
· The initial assessment to ensure your constituent meets the eligibility criteria and that the application is complete was finalized on March 15, 2016.
· The responsible office is currently reviewing the application and documents submitted to determine if your constituent’s spouse meet the eligibility requirements.
o the assessment for the spouse is still in process at the Canadian visa office in Manila, Philippines.
· The medical examination results are on file and valid until May 31, 2017 for your constituent’s spouse.
· The criminality verifications are currently valid.
· The security verifications are currently valid.
· As per our current processing times, it may take up to 12 months to finalize the application. However, processing times indicated on our website are approximate, and can vary with each individual case.

Oh.. so it was Nov. 30.. So this means your eligibility requirements assessment may be finalized by now as well.
Hmmm... well let's wait and see.
But your medical expires in May next year! So you shouldn't be worried too much.
But yeah still.. we want to get it done soon right!

Feb-July applicants are receiving their PPR today, not August because I am August applicant and my BC has been IN PROGRESS for 2 weeks now, but I haven't receive PPR today.

sorry sis ha i accidentally misread the dates on her timeline
but i dont know why i need to explain or to tell you anything at all.
that was just our estimate for the applicants who are having their PPR today. "APRIL TO AUGUST APPLICANTS"

PPR December 12 2016!

Now ask ko lng po kailangn b personal mgsubmit sa VSF? san po ba address nun? di ko po kasi nakita sa lahat ng binasa ko eh..

There sis one august applicant got PPR, there's alot of applicants it doesn't mean na all of them have an account here and posted already some will just create an account once they got PPR for them to ask for help.

there are thousands of applicants per month and not all of us are here in this forum.

yes you are an AUGUST applicant but it doesnt mean na you're the only one i should base into if you already got your PPR or not.

Oh I'm so sorry if you have misunderstood me. I am asking for his/her name to know if he/she is my batchmate with regards to IP on BC or timeline. Because I found a lot of batchmates here.
