After sending an email to our lawyer to notify him that our application is in Rome he responds that they were not advised that our application was transferred as for the reason he states that this is not a reason for concern because of a work sharing system IRCC has in place to ensure they maintain the standard processing time as best as possible and to minimize any backlog so that visa offices can complete processing of applications they receive as smoothly and quickly as possible , he is sending an Inquiry to both CPC-M and Rome requesting the exact date the file was transferred and requesting the current status of our case .... I DONT KNOW WHAT TO THINK ,IM LOST FOR THOUGHT :'(

For sure you'll receive your PPR soonest! I guess it is with the visa officer.
Your myCIC BC may change to IP this week or maybe next week.

When is the due date listed in your notes?

My eligibility still shows 'review required'. due date is 12/08
i do hope so too
my applications due date was august 31 2016
lets all hope that we'll get PPR before December Ends T.T

Anyone have any ideas on why an application would be transferred from one visa office to another ?

Yes.

Exactly what you said in your previous post.

Please Clarify !! Is it because of file sharing ... Or a problem with our application , or because my husband has Refugee status here in Malta and we live in Malta ??????

I guess any of those reasons is a possibility... Does it really matter though who is processing your application? I guess if there is a significant difference in processing time, or if you need an interview.

Now that you mention it, it's most likely due to the that he lives in Malta.

Other than that sometimes apps are sent to different VO to reduce backlog and maintain processing times.

I wouldn't worry about it.

No more PPR's for January family?
Was my PPR one of the last one's?
Good luck! :) keep the faith! Time will come...

Got my PPR on the 12th of NOV.

What country r u from?

Just got a call from MVO and we got COPR!!! They called because his medical expires on the 15th and we have to do it super quick!

Anyone with experience ... there are steps that we have to follow within 5 days and my partner has to cross a canadian border before december 15th.

So do we send the Annex + 2 photos + photocopy of passport + return xpresspost envelope THEN we receive a letter back from CIC THEN we cross the border... or can we cross the border before sending in this stuff?

Thank you!!

Also, it says to include a photocopy of the passport, plus any pages with amendments on them.. what is an amendment on the passport page?

Great News! Did you receive an email from them with the specific instruction that you need to do. Otherwise call the CIC call center if you not sure of the instruction though.

Are you still waiting for PPR?

I think our medical expiry is the reason for the long delay.

Yes still waiting for PPR.

I got response from MP. IRRC replied that my medical is valid til May 2017. And my application is in process time of 12mos.

I have no choice but to wait the PPR.
