Congrats to you!! We have been waiting 14 weeks for passport request. Sent our police check to Mexico City in the beginning of August. Getting a little worried as to why we haven't received passport request yet. Hoping our time is soon. In the meantime we are applying for the ETA on Dec 1st

Courier delivered the passport on Nov 11, but they have not

Did you guys order GCMS notes again?

I ordered this Nov. and it was sent to me within 3 weeks processing.

I noticed that the CEM opened my file on the day I requested for GCMS notes. I think if there is no follow up like GCMS notes, there will be no movement to our file.

Basically the same content with what details we have from Sep. GCMS notes.

Next due date is Dec8. Hopefully PPR on that day.

Hello all. Does anyone know if you can be denied an ETA because you have an application in process? Wanting to be home for Christmas with my Mexican husband and we are applying for the ETA on Dec 1st so I am just curious if we can be denied because we have an app in process. Thanks!

GMCS notes came yesterday after ordering it one month ago. I saw the words, RFV Ready.

RFV stands for Ready for Visa. I hope we will get the email asking for passport soon.

Just received an email from our lawyer a response to her inquiry about our application , Paris replied that she must contact the visa office responsible for our application giving the impression that our file is not in Paris as we were informed in Early March , Could be an error lawyer said so they sent an Emergency inquiry to Missisauga asking whereour file is .... IM AM TOTALLY SICK TO MY STOMACH , our file has been processing now for 8 plus months so it states online , but where the heck Is It ? Anyone have any insight on this and can anyone please give me the telephone number to the application center in Paris so I can call myself !! Thank you :'(. Has anyone ever heard of this happening ????

For sure you'll receive your PPR soonest! I guess it is with the visa officer.
Your myCIC BC may change to IP this week or maybe next week.

When is the due date listed in your notes?

My eligibility still shows 'review required'. due date is 12/08

Finally!
Mexico sent back my husbands passport to El Salvador 8)
He should receive it next week!
It's been a long journey, I feel it that way.

In the entire process they never requested any proof of the relationship, only asked him to retake the Medical, and they made a decision couple of weeks after that.

From the bottom of my heart, I wish a speed process for all the applications... Specially for January family

Just on the phone with call center in Missisaga, appearently sometime between March and now our application was transferred to Rome from Paris , she said nothing seems out of ordinary , and it's processing and for my husband to just wait for further instruction Huh?? Why would it be transferred ? my god My patience is gone, no email telling us this , our lawyer requested update from Paris and we got an email from hm last night stating that they said you must contact the visa office responsible for processing your File , in March 2016 we were informed Paris had our application , but it was transferred and do not know when or why ... Anyone out there that can give me reasons our file was transferred after 8 months of processing ?

I've never heard of that... Hopefully someone with experience can chime in!
