Hey, I'm from the August group, not Manila office though. I asked someone from that group though what their timelines are normally like for your VO and they said 12 months but that the people who are being processed in 2-3 months now are expedited cases, ie. sponsor about to give birth, etc. Super frustrating though overall, I hear you, the process for everyone is taking too long... fingers crossed for you all that you hear soon!

this is the first im hearing of CIC expediting applications because of a sponsor who is about to give birth. I'm pregnant, and we were told CIC doesnt care about the pregnancy (will not give you special treatment) until the baby is actually born!?

i dont know whats wrong with Manila VO everytime i see someone having their PPR its from the latter applicants
i am really frustrated now.
i am too tempted to contact manilaVO

Hey! Congratulations on arriving in Canada!!!

I hope you are doing better each day, but since you have mentioned that you have had some issues please visit a newcomer service and ask them for help and information. It is easier than having to learn things the hard way, and you can visit different organisations if you are not happy with their service.

Since arriving in Canada the immigration office has been very kind and gave me a lot of information.
I am anxious to validate my title and other things.

Acknowledge of receipt receives - Feb 26, 2016
Started processing our Application - Feb 26, 2016

On my husband part.

They started processing hi paper - March 28 2016
Medical result have bee received - No specified dates when they received it


He went for his medical examination last May 26 2016.


Last Oct 21 2016. He receives a letter about Pre-arrival services before arriving in canada.
NO PASSPORT REQUEST LETTER.
NO UPDATES UP TO NOW.


Please enlighten me with regards our application, I emailed Manila Visa Office I don't get any updates for the progress of our application.
It's turning 10 months now. Sad Sad Sad

Application Status: closed
Final decision: This application has been approved
Now will be great if they return my husbands passport soon

Question though for anyone who knows, I just realized that my partners medical check is expiring in less than one month and we havent received any email about getting it renewed or anything.... how long do they usually give you to get a new medical check? I am worried that they havent requested that we get a new one! His current one expires on December 14th.
Any input?

Hello Everyone!

Need your help to apply online for TRV for my wife.
we applied paper application in October and it got rejected.
planning to reapply online application this time.
we got married in march this year and applied for spouse PR in august in which we already approved for first stage(SA).
Now about TRV online application what supporting document i should provide?
My wife has no work history and she never travelled outside India.
My wife doesn't have any property or anything like that on her name.
So I am not really sure what other documents i can provide for her application.
Anybody in the same situation and got approved for TRV?
Really really need your help!
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
