Congrats mrs c3 :)

Found this on another thread......

As per the trend shows.......after Medical Results have been received line of ECAS.......4 to 5 months average for

PPR request......But as I saw many threads in 2013 things are happening very rapidly......the VO has to finalize all pending cases that have their 3rd line on ECAS.......Thats why I strongly feel that in couple of months you all get your PPR Requests........Because before the MAY-13 they have to finalize cases........So Chill and be happy....you all will get your PPR very soon.

Secondly as per Qorax....if 3rd line appeared on ECAS it means that your Medical is approved and Seconded by Otawa.....and it also indicate that your Security check also completed......and only thing is left is right time.....for PPR that is very soon......... I ASKED ON THIS THREAD WHAT ABOUT OUTLAND ..which has to do Medicals upfront and pay all fees , Never got a response ,so hoping someone will respond here .... My husbands application has been processing since March 15 th 2016 we applied in January , Online status is still the same

We received xxxx application for Permanent residence on January 26 th 2016

We started processing xxxxx application on March 15 th 2016

Medical results have been received

NO UPDATE SINCE , NO NOTHING !!!! I'm getting stir crazy here !!!!! Someone Respond please

I'm hoping for this week too. Every Monday I get hopeful, and every Friday I get disappointed. This is quite the cycle. LOL

I have sent my medical together with my whole application documents and according to mycic it is "passed" and the background check already changed to in progress last week.

Congratulations!

It looks like your application is going very well. :) I am so glad to hear that!

I hope you take advantage of the pre-arrival services offered by CIC. I believe you already qualify for NextStopCanada.ca

Keep us posted on your experience in this process. It is very helpful.

Good luck for the future as well!

Alex

Finally a reply from our Lawyer.......

1. We are wondering if you had any update on our application since your last Email , Is it normal to not hear anything from VO after almost 8 Months in process? We are getting very worried at this point , Please respond at your earliest convenience.
>>No, it is not out of the ordinary not to receive the Acknowledgement of Receipt (AOR) from the visa office after the first stage approval (approval of the sponsor). In some cases, the AOR is skipped if additional or updated documents are required. In your case, this will likely be the request for medical renewal.

2. Should we schedule a appointment to have Xxxxx Medical redone , as it expires in January?
>>No, as you will need to wait for a medical form that the visa office will issue to you before proceeding with the renewal. We expect that the visa office will issue this form to you once they are in a position to request for the renewals to be completed.

A request for update is on route to the visa office for you. As always, rest assured that all new communication received from the visa office will automatically be scanned to the client, so you will be immediately informed as soon as any news/further instruction is received regarding your case...... Should we take this as positive or Negitive ?????????

Hi Guys!
Last week I came to Canada.
I had some problems on the flight and even lost my phone... (was a long trip!...) The people of migration have been very kind and now other challenges begin!!!
I already have my SIN and im waiting for my residence card and health card in the nexts months.
I am very grateful to God because I did not see my husband for years and grateful for to those who helped me when I was about to go crazy. Thank you again!

This process takes 9 months and a half: Full of laughter, anger, sadness and meet fight mates!

Everything happens for a reason: The wait is worth it!!!!

Hey! Congratulations on arriving in Canada!!!

I hope you are doing better each day, but since you have mentioned that you have had some issues please visit a newcomer service and ask them for help and information. It is easier than having to learn things the hard way, and you can visit different organisations if you are not happy with their service.

This link is a CIC list of all the newcomer services funded by the government (free) http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/newcomers/map/services.asp

Talk to them about any information you need

Best of luck!!

Alex

Hello January family!
My husband just got a letter requesting him to send his passport to Mexico VO
I'm so happy, we both got the email, CIC account has not changed yet, but he is ready to submit his passport as of tomorrow!
They just ask him to report any changes, or change on contact information.
Thanks for all the support, all the opinions, help I got in the journey, we are almost done!!!
