Makes me think with all my heart that they only want him to comply, and once they have the Medical proof of payment, they will request his passport :-* :-*

This is exactly what they sent me :
Please note that MEdical Examinations have a validity of one year. Therefore we require new MEDS for Mr XXXXXX
Once you comply, please send us proof to this e-mail. You can send receipt and or/report.

I was so upset yesterday, but we are kind if feeling better now, we just want this to be over

Can you check your email asking for remed to see if it is from immigration section or visa section? My wife's email is from visa section. Her other emails are from immigration section. Some suggested if it is from visa section, it is getting close to receiving the visa, because immigration section within the VO has completed their work.

Hopefully that is correct, and we can verify it later. By the way, my wife's remed report was sent electronically by the clinic through their eMedical system.

Yup i did receive one last oct 21 they say thats a good news but theres nothing attached to it though just an image of gov. OF canada etc.

I read you will only receive that email if your BGC is in progress
But my BGC is not yet in progress.
Last year when theres still no mycic account app link
Once you receive that you'll get ppr soon?

The email I received asking from remed, came from Mexico VO, this is the email address MXICOIMMIGRATION@international.gc.ca
Yes, The Dr. told my husband that the exams were sent right at the moment via eMedical, but in the email they are asking him to send proof of payment or report... So we are sending that too

Feeling is mutual. End of the week, October is ending soon and yet no PPR. Here comes November! Let's hope and pray for PPR to all January applicants!

That's what they said. Other applicants received it as a part of PPR email. I saw a post here saying that it means we are already approved and we just have to wait for the PPR. Aside from that, CEM slowed down in sending ppr. Most of this week's activity was more on sending passport.

It was part of the PPR email in our case.

This is a good sign for all newcomers. The Government is investing a lot in services and programs specifically designed to make it easier for newcomers to adjust to the new personal and professional life in Canada.

You must provide one of these documents to be eligible to register at http://nextstopcanada.ca/

-Medical Examination or Security request letter -Letter requesting for passport submission
-IRCC invitation letter to obtain pre-arrival services -Canadian Permanent Resident Visa
-Confirmation of Permanent Residence (COPR) letter

This is why the Government is investing in applicants at such an early stage. For some of the programs you are eligible as soon as you receive your medical request letter. Look over the list and register for the programs, they may help you get a job before you arrive which from what I understand can speed up your immigration process.

MEdical for my husband was also passed, and the background check changed to in progress last week, and they sent my husband to get medical again, its not even expired until December 9/16
So we are kind on the same boat 8) I hope they don't ask you to send Medical again....
