This is driving me nuts! There has been next to no activity with the Manila Visa Office since the first and second week of October!
:o

I wish they would do favorable updates on January applicants.

Thanks for your feedback. Good for you. i did get a reply saying that they would forward my request to the processing VO office in Hong Kong, but Hong kong office never followed up with me though.
So, I received response to the email I sent to Mexico VO.
My husband's medical expire until December 9, 2016, however he is being asked to get medical again, I sent an email, just confirming they have his medical, and it's not expired yet!!!
The answer was:

Please note that MEdical Examinations have a validity of one year. Therefore we require new MEDS for Mr XXXXXX
Once you comply, please send us proof to this e-mail. You can send receipt and or/report.

That is all I got, they did not answer my question, however, they did reply to my email, only 4 days after I sent it...

What I can assume based on that e-mail is that it's going to take longer than December to process the application. But yes I agree they didn't really state a clear reason why. You can ask in another e-mail but honestly I'd start getting ready to prepare for new meds

I emailed them last Monday told them my nbi is expiring on dec and medical is expiring on Jan..and they replied surprisingly fast!
Got their reply the following day... A 1 sentence reply that goes...."Dear Sir/Madam,
Your application is currently being processed by our office"

At least give me a bit of piece of mind that our application is not lost. Lol
