My medical expires in December ! and nope, haven't gotten any notes.. Also.. i am not sure .. I applied as common law but am now engaged, should I be sending an update of status ? or should I just ignore it? I feel like it may help the situation or no?jeddai said:He is one of the VOs who updated our file. Did u ask for GMCS notes? When is you medical expiry?
mmarkovs said:Hi all,
My wife applied via outland through Vienna office so she could stay in Canada. She had a multi entry visa so we decided to go this route because of faster processing times. We finally got passport request today after 9 months of waiting! However, I have some questions on the next steps even after reading the document. Hope you can help!
1) Since she is already here in Canada, will she have to leave and re enter once getting the PR Card?
2) Do we "notify Vienna of a change in address" as it indicates in the letter by writing any updated information on a piece of paper when sending the passport to Vienna? Or how do we let them know that we are living somewhere else?
3) Are the passport sized photos that we sent with our application enough, or do we have to send 2 more photos?
4) Do we need to send the receipt (RPRF) again if we already paid and sent it with our initial application?
5) Should we send to Vienna office or send to Ottawa since my wife is already in canada?
5) Is there anything else I am missing? Or is all we need to do is send the passport with a note stating that our address has changed and wait for the card to come?
Thank you in advance,
Mike
I totally feel the same way as you...jeddai said:I feel anxious about my application. Maybe it has been put underneath the others and new applications. The other applicants like FEB, MARCH, APRIL, MAY already got PPR from MVO.
I don't get it either! Just surrendering to God.suzyph said:I dont get it. Why they process ppr first from march, april, May, June when there's more pending from December, January & Feb.?

Thanks a lot. Any idea how to ship with private courier? Which one should i use? They ask to provide a prepaid coupon for sending the documents back. They also state that the courier will have to notify vienna by email. Would the courier know how to do this? Can some provide more info? ThanksNana81 said:Hi Mike,
Congratulations!!!
Lets go step by step.
1) Get the letter you received from Vienna Office. There should have a link for you to look for photos instructions. It is important to have the right ones!
2) In the letter you may also find information either they gave you the option to send passports to Ottawa or Vienna only.
3) After you send the passport and receive it back, you will see that there is a visa there: immigrant visa. And this visa has a very short validity (usually the same validity as medical exams or the validity of the passport, whichever is going to expire first)! That being said, Your spouse MUST leave Canada once the passport with the visa is back and RE-ENTRY the Canada BEFORE this visa expires! This visa will not be extended under any circumstances!
4) Because she is in Canada just as visitor right now, no change in address is needed. BUT, try to call and get more answers. Its safe.
5) No sure about the RPRF receipt. They didn't ask me, I didn't send to them. Maybe someone else can comment on this.
6) Send passport(s), photos with eye colour, height, name and date of birth in the back of photos. Send also a cover letter indicating the contents of your envelop with your address. PS: check if hey ask you for a prepaid return envelop. This is important.
Good luck!
Do you suggest we send some engagement pics? Do you think that would help in any way?jeddai said:I suggest you and your partner request a Note so you may be able to get some info on how your application goes as of now.
This is they grey area in application. They don't communicate that much on what is still needed in the application. What I've read from other forum, just wait until they ask for additional docs. Did u get AOR2 where they ask additional docs.?NRSY said:Do you suggest we send some engagement pics? Do you think that would help in any way?
I submitted everything that they can deemed to like genuine. I included family, engagement, vacation, call logs, wedding photos, etc. I even wrote names and dated each photo in the back just so they know who they are in the photo.NRSY said:Do you suggest we send some engagement pics? How far has your application reached? Has it come to PPR already?perry.w1224 said:I submitted everything that they can deemed to like genuine.
