Do you have anyone who could do it for you in canada? Like your parents or any person whom you can trust enough to get your gcms notes on your behalf? In all honesty, i have no contact with december 2015 applicant. I'm not familiar with the issue that you need to be physically present in canada to access gcms notes. Have you ordered it? We are waiting for our second notes.

Do you know the average time for MVO to send PPR? I'm really hoping that either this month or next will be our turn for PPR.

I just noticed from some of the previous applicants, once the file was transferred and aor2 was sent, that would be 3 months before ppr request. That's the trend until I notice they stop asking for ppr in the end of july that was the time when they moved ecas to myCIC. That would be the reason why they haven't updated anything. Are they fully trained now and on board for the release of this application? (I think so )

We got AOR2 on June 1st, so I hope by the end of August we get PPR.

yes hopefully, our prediction for PPR will be based on the gcms notes. I will be having my next gcms notes either end of month of august or 1st week of september. :) It's reliable than myCIC online account, email from visa office and even ecas. :)

Has no one from December received PPR yet?

I hope it's soon, that would be around 8 months for them.

Hi everyone, I am new on this thread.

I am preparing spousal visa application for my wife. I am looking for some advice based on the valuable experience of members here.

My wife has just finished her college (May 2016) in India and she is planning to study further. She is very interested in continuing with the studies and we were hoping to go on this without a gap year break. If we apply for study visa while spousal visa is in process, does it lead to any conflicts? What has been your experience?

How do you think we should go about it? Shall we file study visa application before starting spousal visa? Or after spousal visa? Is it ok to have both the applications in process?

Or shall we look at visitor visa to gain her entry to Canada for 1-2 months and get familiar with the education system? I am not very keen on this however your inputs would be valuable.

I am quite confused on this. Your help is much appreciated!

Best,

You need to relax and calm down first. It's just been 10 days since your app has reached Mississauga. Don't expect to hear anything from them for at least 60 days since they receive your app.

You can go ahead and apply for a visitors visa. You do not need an UCI for that. Just be truthful on your visitor visa application that you have applied for PR and also state the genuine reason for your visit and show a return ticket and strong ties/reasons to return to India in 1-2 months and then go back only and only once your PR is processed.

Since May 4 (AOR2) I dont heard nothing about Mexico City Office.
Im waiting for PPR ...
So, maybe this is the "lucky month"

As I'm waiting in Canada and have lived here for about 10 months, I had to submit a police check from Canada. That causes an extra month of wait. I hope the end is near.

Hey,
I know someone from December who got PPR last month. Her application was a total of 7 months and one week.

If there are any January 2016 spousal applicants who are processing through the Mexico City Visa Office, please say hello in the Mexico forum here on Canadavisa and add your timeline info to the Mexico Timeline spreadsheet (see my sig line).
