Nothing yet from Mexico VO....last email was AOR2 on April 28th....waiting patiently as it can be awhile. A girl I know received her AOR2 in February from Mexico and still has not heard anything , it can be a long wait.....

My last email was AOR2 on May 4.
We have the same timeline and same office. This year MexicoVO is so slow.. maybe in the last week of july we are going to know something about them!!

Hi everyone!

I need to apply for my spouse visa. I immigrated a month ago as a permanent resident.
Can i place a combine file for dependent as well as visitor visa with open work permit to bring her early?
Did anyone try this?

1. Why didn't you add your spouse as accompanying on your PR app?

2. You did declare her as non-accompanying and have her do the medical right?

3. OWP is for inland applications only.

4. No, TRV is separate and is not linked to family class sponsorship.

1. Why didn't you add your spouse as accompanying on your PR app?
Ans. In got married after my application so i raised a CSE and notified CIC that i got married then they didnt add my spouse but directly asked for my passport and gave me PR.

2. You did declare her as non-accompanying and have her do the medical right?
Ans. I was not married at time of application.

3. OWP is for inland applications only.
Ans. I mean to apply a TRV and along with that i initiate a dependent application. After c gets here i apply for open work permit.

4. No, TRV is separate and is not linked to family class sponsorship.
Ans. Alrite so its a different application in all.

tell me the fastest way to bring my spouse here.

Fastest way would be for her to be approved for TRV and then you sponsor her when she arrives. For her to be approved for TRV she will need to show strong ties to her country.

Hello! I'm applying for an outland sponsorship. I'm a PR here in Canada and my husband is in the philippines. We recently got married in the philippines last April 30. 2016. I left the Philippines June 9,2016 and I'm gathering some documents. Also I'm 2 months pregnant. Is it possible to have a shorter waiting time period if I apply and is it okay if he doesn't take the upfront medical before submitting his application? Also his passport will be released on first week of august. Since its his first time applying for one? Can you help me and tell me all the details that I should know?

-Hello, my hubby is the applicant and the visa office is in Manila as well..
*pregnancy-it depends on the visa officer who will handle your files.
*upfront-yes he can choose not to do the upfront and just wait for the request.. however, if you will submit everything upfront the officer can look straightforward to your application.
*if you want to join on Facebook group, you can post all your questions and concerns about the application and we are willing to help you..

Being pregnant will not make your processing time shorter.

Ano po yung gcnotes?

Newbie here
January applicant

Hi we ordered our GCMS NOTES last May and we received it by June took almost a month
And it seems that they just started checking on all my eligibility, security criminality etc.
But my medicals are already marked as passed

If you want na macheck kung ano na nangyayare sa application mo the only detailed way is through ordering your GCMS NOTES .

GCMS notes are essentially all of the notes that CIC will have on your file.
If you are not in canada
Better have your sponsor apply for GCMS notes para 5 CAD lang
Kasi pag nag order ka outside Canada it will cost you 40 CAD i think.

Will be ordering another notes again by end of July

Ahh ganun po ba ? Salamat po. Nga po pala tanong ko lang kung to too na dapat bago ma expired yung medical dpat naka alis kna papuntang Canada ? Salamat po ulit. Godbless

Hi Jan applicants - any news from anyone's application? I'm starting to worry if the AOR2 we received needed any documents to be sent, although MVO didn't send us any sort of attachment so there was nothing asked for specifically.

Do you expect we'll get DM or PPR by this month?
