I don't think that's needed.

I let them know as my spouse's mailing address was listed as her address in Warsaw.

I sent the VO in Warsaw an email from my spouse's account explaining that we wanted to update her mailing address to mine as she is here in Canada with me now. We included a copy of this email in our package that we sent to Ottawa.

We did not want to risk them not being able to send it to us here in Canada.

Hopefully this will be acceptable.

I too have submitted a spousal sponsorship application for my husband on Jan 05 2016. He currently lives in India.

I received the acknowledgement email from CIC on Feb 21 2016 stating receipt of my application on Jan 05 2016 and have started processing the sponsorship application Feb 20 2016.
I also received email acknowledgement from Delhi Immigration on Apr 14 stating they have received my husband's PR application Jan 5 2016 and have started processing application on Apr 8 2016.

Is that how it goes? I haven't received any sponsorship approval email as yet. Does the fact that my husband's application has started to being processed mean that they have approved my sponsorship application? Or do I still have to wait for that approval email?

This whole processing time is so confusing to me.

Secondly, my husband wanted to come on a visit for a month in the mean time. Can we still apply for a visitor visa for him? Would that negatively affect his PR application or delay that process in any way, if we were to apply for visitor's visa?

Can anyone please reply to this, if they have any information. Thank you.

Could you specify what the AOR1, SA, AOR2, DM abbreviations stand for?
My application has a same timeline as you (sent and received Jan 05 2016). But mine still says In Process on both Sponsorship Application and PR Application Status . Review of Sponsorship app started Feb 20 2016 whereas PR app started Apr 8.

That's so weird! My SA side doesn't show SA even tho the file has already been received by our VO and PR side shows medicals but doesn't show we started processing

Same as my application!
My SA side shows:
application received, started processing but no SA, however PR side shows application received, started processing, and medicals received.
I don't know what to make of it ???

Good news! We got AOR2 from MVO.

I'm hoping this is a good sign and that things are moving. I have a few immediate questions that I'm hoping some other forum members can help us with:

1) they asked us to re-send a whole bunch of documents if we haven't already done so. We sent everything in the original application, but one of the PCCs expired, so would we need to send that again? It mentions you can send documents via email but I recall the PCCs had to be originals?

2) they mentioned advisory on marriages if not already sent. My wife and I were married in Canada and don't have AOM as it wasn't registered in the Philippines. The original guidelines mentioned that if you're married abroad and the marriage isn't registered in the Philippines then to send an original marriage certificate which we did. Would anyone know about this? It seems the email was a template covering many things.

Has anyone that has received a DM from the Ottawa office not received their COPR within the usual couple of weeks? I received DM on April 30th, and have been away since today. I was expecting the COPR to be in the mail, but unfortunately haven't received it.

Should I try to call the CIC? If so, does anyone have their number?
