I'm hoping this is a good sign and that things are moving. I have a few immediate questions that I'm hoping some other forum members can help us with:
1) they asked us to re-send a whole bunch of documents if we haven't already done so. We sent everything in the original application, but one of the PCCs expired, so would we need to send that again? It mentions you can send documents via email but I recall the PCCs had to be originals?
2) they mentioned advisory on marriages if not already sent. My wife and I were married in Canada and don't have AOM as it wasn't registered in the Philippines. The original guidelines mentioned that if you're married abroad and the marriage isn't registered in the Philippines then to send an original marriage certificate which we did. Would anyone know about this? It seems the email was a template covering many things.
Hi! Congrats on your AOR2. Atleast you already heard from CEM.jr4210 said:We're confused though because the email seems to be a template, listing many things to submit if you haven't already done so, however we submitted everything in our original application. There are a few things though in the email that don't apply to us, or we can't submit, for example Advisory on Marriages because we were married in Canada.
Would anyone know if they wanted something in particular, they would send an email to ask specifically for that?
We're thinking this email is mainly as AOR 2 and to provide us with the PA's UCI number.
You could try. Their number is 1-888-242-2100. Follow the prompts to get to a representative.thejeon said:Has anyone that has received a DM from the Ottawa office not received their COPR within the usual couple of weeks? I received DM on April 30th, and have been away since today. I was expecting the COPR to be in the mail, but unfortunately haven't received it.
Should I try to call the CIC? If so, does anyone have their number?
