this is somewhat frustrating
other VO's are processing applications way more faster than how they do it before but in Manila VO it's a different scenario. :(
i think no one in september applicants ever got DM yet

It is the same for Mexico City VO... People
Who have applied in September have not received DM yet.... I have a feeling I have a long long long wait......

PPR Received today at 1:30 am EST ;D ;D ;D

12th Feb 2016 applicant
NDVO
DM on 8th or 9th May 2016

This is God speed and we are extremely happy and joyful.

My wife is already in Canada on Visitor Visa and luckily they have given option of sending passport to Ottawa for stamping. Just dispatched her passport, 2 photos and the passport request letter along with an Xpressport envelope to Ottawa, should reach them by tomorrow.

Once we receive her stamped passport, can we go to a local office for her landing formalities or would need to go on a border crossing only?

If we have to go to the Niagara Falls border crossing, can I (Applicant's spouse who is already a PR) accompany my wife during the flag-poling process?

Anyone who has either got their landing formality done within a local office or flag-poling at the border, kindly share your experiences.

Cheers to everyone receiving DM and PPR :D

Just a quick question about ECAS... We are able to log in using my information (last name, bday, etc.) (the sponsor) however we are unable to log in using the principal applicants information.. is this normal ? do all of you log in to ECAS using only the sponsors information?

thanks!

With AOR2 the PA should get their own UCI that can be used to log on with the PAs information

Awesome! thanks! just tried that and it worked ... he has the same UCI number as his Canadian work permit from last year has so hopefully that speeds up processing at least a little bit!

What you can also so, use the application number instead UCI
Application number is the same for both of you :)

maybe they already started transmitting application details on MyCIC (by logging in on GC-KEY or the SIGN IN PARTNER)
the new one where we can see more details more than what E-CAS shows us.
it would be launched on May 29, 2016

I haven't had issues logging into eCAS since I've been able to access it in the first place. I wonder why some people are and some people aren't. I can't wait until the ability to link our applications with MyCIC comes out though...

Will the login details for that still be the UCI number etc as it is now on Ecas?

Do you get different information when you log in with the PR applicant's info?

hi jr4210 since my grandparents are applying for TRV. their application can be updated via GC KEY already.
No , it's not the same thing as how you log in on ECAS , because you need to create an account and LINK IN your PR Application for the details to come out :)

I thought MyCIC was just for submitting online applications? Are they planning on phasing out ECAS and I would hope theyd atleast let us know if they were transfering our info... This is so confusing.
