Let's all hope that by May or June we'll have our PPR request LETS ALL PRAY FOR IT

Since i have been viewing all timelines from august
And it seems that some July and August applicants are receiving their PPR last march
This April i think its SEPTEMBER & OCTOBER batch are starting to have their PPR.
NOVEMBER DECEMBER maybe maybe this May . And by any chance all January and Some February Applicants will get an update hopefully PPR by JUNE

WELL THATS JUST AN OBSERVATION

Hello! I also just have 3 lines on either side and that they started processing on March 28th on the PA side!

Also, my common-law partner and I have been thinking about doing a civil ceremony to get married (we both dont want to have a real big wedding after seeing the stress a lot of our friends have gone through with planning!) We applied as common-law.. if we were to get married would we send in the marriage certificate? and would this look bad to CIC? or would it be in our favour?

Any insight would be greatly appreciated!

Hi all,

I'm an American living with my Canadian partner in Quebec, and I applied for PR in late January. I just found out that my fingerprints were rejected for the second time from the FBI. They told me that some people just don't have very distinct fingerprints, and that i may need to submit several more cards before one of them can be scanned. Even worse, they said that it may not matter how many times I resubmit, the system might just not be able to read my prints. I submitted the first prints digitally, and the second set in ink, from two different companies, so I have no idea what the problem is, and I don't want my application to be held up for 3+ months over this. Has this happened to anyone else? Is there any other way to get an FBI clearance/prove you don't have a criminal record?

Hi there, I am so so sorry to for you! Now, this hasn't happened to me, but I have read about this here in the forum. This guy wrote he had the same problem. What he found helped him, was moisturizing his hands very very much for a few days right before taking the prints. That's all I know, I'm sorry :'(

Haven't heard a thing; trying not to stress but it's so hard!

I'm in the same boat as you both, just waiting, which sucks!

I plan to order notes later this week just to give me something to look forward to but doubt there will be anything useful in them this early.
