I know the wait is horrible! I wouldnt worry though... I was at 57 days on march 15th so I called and they said that I was approved earlier that day but I still havent received an email about it!
They said the time online should be looked at as an 'average' time but its really case by case and completely depends also on the person who is in charge of your file.. so frustrating!

Is there a possibility we're approved as sponsors, but don't get sent SA? Or is that an email that they always send..

I'm a little hesitant to call.

I was also worried to call because I was expecting the worst! But the man I talked to was really nice and it just took about 5 minutes on hold! I think SA is something you always get.. its a pretty determining factor in the whole process! the first big step really haha
I still wont accept what he said until I get that email though... going on 59 days..

Which number did you call them on from outside Canada?

How did you contact them by the way? Are you in canada right now? Would like to call them too but i dont know how

What was the update on your ECAS once you have been told about SA?

I'm in Canada.. we just applied as if we are outside of Canada.. my partner is here in Canada now on a working holiday visa! It expires in August though... so Im hoping for a quick process.. but not looking so good haha

I called them on the number that was in the AOR email.

I have had no updates on ECAS.. when I called the man on the phone told me that I had been approved literally like an hour before my call. I have received nothing yet/nothing new on ECAS. He told me though that my application will be sent to Manila.

I'll just keep on praying then
I emailed them via case enquiry just incase they might reply
Do you guys know what is the timeline for MVO would it take longer ? So that i know if i would go ahead and have an up front medical or i would rather wait for the meds request

I have no idea about the MVO ..we did the medical in December.. I heard that it is much quicker to do the medical upfront rather than them requesting it.. I have been following the Manila thread on this forum also and it seems that people with June and July application dates are getting PR now.. so it seems to be taking about 8 months from what I can see.. so if you were to get it done now.. it would still last for year from now
I think calling is a better option than the case inquiry... I feel like they never reply to those.. we filled one out when my bf was going through his working holiday visa application but never heard anything from them haha

So they inform principle applicant or sponsor or the representative for AOR, SA and all?

Thankyou ! I'll just wait for our SA then i'll go ahead and have an up front medical
The problem is how to send the form that the panel physician would give me via case enquiry?
There is this question "Did you submit a paper application to an office OUTSIDE of Canada?"
Would it be a yes or no?

That's what i'm scared of doing the upfront medical i dont know how to fill in the case enquiry hehe .
