Did the applicant side of your ecas change from Application Received yet to In Process?

I got my SA on 9th March. PR side is “application received”, in process should meab someone has started working on your file.

Thanks! I haven't received AOR2 but our VO isn't really known for sending one out.

Well when I log in it has the sponsor side and the applicant side and under the applicant side it is a link and that says "in process" and when I click on they it states when the application was received and that they have received Medicals.

I would assume that as long as it changed from 'Application Received' to 'In Process' in the time after you got your SA, that indirectly means it's been received. I'm guessing that for some VOs that don't send AOR, this is the only way to know.

Yes I am assuming I am not going to get an AOR2 as some people who received their SA weeks after me have already received theirs. Anyways do you know about how long until I hear from them? I believe the next step would be for them to ask for any missing docs or request any updates things.

I guess it depends on the VO or the officer working on the file if they update ecas.

I really don't know, I can't say, I'm not even there yet. In my mind, this is the 'long' part now.. sitting and waiting for them to (hopefully not) ask for anything further. I imagine after the average amount of time for your VO passes, if hopefully all goes well, you should get DM as the next official step.

i know after we recieved aor2...after a few days another line was added on the pr side saying they started processing on march 7th. so now there is three lines, it may also depend on how the visa office works.

Yeah that is a possibility. I never received my AOR2... But I guess not everyone receives one. I guess all we can do is really sit back and wait! I applied January 8th, hoping to have my hubby in Canada by August!!! It isn't wrong to wish right? Hahaha
