April 5 applicant (Ottawa VO of course) got DM. In comparison to Feb... January seems so quiet.

Does anyone know if MVO sends a PPR email before ecas updates to DM, or vice versa? We're anxious to hear something since it's been a while.

Anyone from LVO gotten an actual AOR2 email/letter? I've been approved as the sponsor and Ecas says the permanent residency application started processing on 17th March but we've not had any communication since then.

wow you still don't have ur ppr? but some february applicants even march i think were already issued PPR
why dont you try to contact them
since OTTAWA process application as fast as they could

I know! It's a little concerning. ??? We're trying to come up with possible hold-ups.. my boyfriend and I have both lived in various places in the last 10 years before settling in Germany for the last few years, so we're hoping it's just taking longer to check all our background stuff!? Maybe cuz we're not married?? So many possible reasons

I'm waiting until the 26th when we can hopefully see stuff on MYcic.. maybe I'll see something more specific in there?

But then if I was going to contact them - do I just send an email? Or do I have to order that paperwork that takes a month?

Okay.. I was asking because pakistani are being processed at LVo
And if u want any progress regarding LVO processing times u can come on that forum
I can give u the link if u'd like to come

If you've both lived in many different countries, your background checks will take longer as CSIS needs to correspond and liaise with several different government agencies.

´better countries´ get processed faster, hence the speed of ottawa vo. it´s not fair but i can understand it and at the end, what can we do about it? nothing.

If that's your theory, how do you explain NDVO being as fast as Ottawa?

GUYS!

Following happened. I came now from work, my wife tells me that my phone received a message. I have an Email form Vienna that they require additional documents. So I open the mail and it really says: Document request. So i was like F**K what now. there is not much text and there is a PDF at the end. I open it and it says that my app reached the final stages and that they need my passport and the new pictures in the next 30 days together with documents if anything changed in our marriage etc.

My ecas still shows in process.

We received *********s application for permanent residence on January 22, 2016.
We started processing **********'s application on March 21, 2016.
Medical results have been received.

This is good right? This is a PPR? This means i got the PR?
