I just got an email from the Manila Visa Office about our application ...

"Dear Applicant,

This refers to your application for permanent residence in Canada.

You submitted photos which do not meet our current standard specifications. In order for our office to issue your visa(s) and/or Confirmation of Permanent Resident form(s), you must submit two (2) photos of yourself and of each accompanying family member respecting precise specifications that can be found at: http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/applications/guides/pdf/5445EB-e.pdf.

The required photos must be submitted thru the Visa Application Centre (VAC). Find a VAC in your area at http://www.vfsglobal.ca/canada/.

The issuance of your visa(s) and/or Confirmation of Permanent Resident form(s) is time sensitive so it is important for you to submit your correct photos within 15 days from the date of this letter. Failure to comply within the given timeframe will lead to a delay in the processing of your application.

Does this mean they are close to issuing a visa/COPR if we send in correct photos? Also, We are currently in Canada... it says we must submit the photos through the Visa Application Center... but none are listed for Canada? These are only photos of the applicant.. correct?

does anyone have any experience with this?

This seems like great news! I'm still waiting so I can't say for sure but from what I've seen on the forum, this is right before they issue visas. Congrats!

I think our application has been misplaced , 7 weeks now and no update !!!! Still says in process on sponsor side and PR Side , I'm ready for a rubber room and a hug me jacket , Getting very worried now :'(

Where are you on the process? Have you already gotten SA? I had a few months of hearing nothing before DM, very very normal and expected. You can order GCMS notes if you really want to know where in the process you're at.

Approved as Sponsor on March 11, 2016. Application is in Paris .. I don't see many applicants on here going through Paris, So no Idea if they are slow or not ... But shouldn't we have have gotten some update as of now ? This is driving me Crazy

come next week you'll be next.. lets claim it brother! i think ircc is really speeding up the process.. coz outland applicant now is 13months processing including 39days sponsor assessment.

We got a new line in our Ecas
AOR is the second line and the"we started processing..."is the third line.

May I ask how long it took you to get the "medical results have been received" on Ecas after u did the medical. Thanks po.

hi ahm kasi after medical exams are done you will wait for 3 days to 1 week for them to review the results and para tignan kung may additional pang exams ang gagawin. pero pag sinabi na sa husband m na ACCEPTABLE naman lahat ang resulta baka 1-2 weeks range.

Can someone please point me in the right direction for family applicants going through Paris VO , I found only one but it was from a few years ago !
