They will contact your representative of you have one and if not they will contact PA by phone. Does your wife's phone work here where she is visiting you?

We don't have a representative, but my wife brought her phone and the number is working and switched on.

I updated our ecas addresses just in case there was any mail and it doesn't get missed.

You should be just fine then!! When was your medical? It seems like they are handing out urgent PPRs whose Medicals are expiring soon... At least that is what happened to us!

Ours was sent it by email (his PPR) a day after the background check changed to in progress.

They e-mailed me (i am in canada and the sponsor) because we said in the letter to contact me instead if there are any updates regarding my husbands application because he is working overseas.

If you r in canada you have to send it to Ottowa or else if you are in manila send it in person your passport for the visa, but just wait for the email they will give you instructions about PPR. :)

Hi everyone.
I am January 2016 applicant of Manila visa office.
I just got email from MVO last night that I have to take medical exam again and and get Canadian police certificate (RCMP clearance).
I'm totally fine with taking medical due to it's expiring next month.
The problem is that I have to get RCMP Clearance and send it to Visa office within 2 monthes.
I just made an appointment for finger print at local RCMP and they told me it may take more than3 or 4montes, so I did a little bit of reserch online. I found on some old thread saying that it takes only 1 or 2 weeks if you get electronic finger prints at accredited company and send it to RCMP.
Does anyone know if it's true or have experience like this?
Thanks in advance!

Do they only call the PA if they're based in the Philippines?
