I don't think they need any proof of income, since spousal sponsorship is not subject to financial requirements in Quebec. You just need to prove his residence/address (the latest pay stub, phone etc bills... just need one of those), proof of identity for the sponsor (can be a passport copy as well), color photocopy of the passport for the sponsored, your SA letter, CSQ application for the sponsored, and two copies of the undertaking. The list seems big because they give many options per choice, but you mostly need to pick just one, like proof of identity you can just take a copy of his passport.

Cool thanks, I was worried because when I read it , with my limited French, it sounded like I needed one copy or one original of each of the following documents and proceeded to list them. Sorry for all the dumb questions.

There's no dumb questions, we've been through all the same since it's quite the paper jungle to get through this all! Especially if you have to struggle through another language you're limited at. Previously, when I applied, the list was all in English so it was much easier to look through which things had changed since I applied. This forum exists so we can help each others :)

Thank god it does otherwise I'd go insane. There is so much to think about and remember so I try to help other folks just starting out as those before me helped me. Though I don't know everything nor do I claim to but I can share my experiences. ;)

Hi, my ECAS now shows that they received ny partner's medical report. Please update my timeline. Thank you!

Can someone update my stats? It says January 19 but it's actually Jan. 16 that the app was sent, and ECAS states that med. records were received at the same time as the sponsorship approval. That's all.
I'm applying via Vienna so I probably won't hear anything back until after New Years 2015.

Good luck to all! =D

Hi There,

Please update the spreadsheet, as my ECAS has changed it's status:

"July 28, 2014 - application "IN PROCESS""

Thank you! :)

Hi there!

Just a small error on my portion of the spreadsheet!

JULY 28, 2014 "IN PROCESS"

(not August 5, 2014)

& further information to add:

AUGUST 8, 2014 "DECISION MADE"

I can only assume this is a good thing??

Thanks again,

Marticus

I corrected my mistake Marticus. Congratulations on your DM.
I think that fast decision made is a very good sign that the applicant has been approved. Its giving me hope that our file will get processed soon also.

Congrats, Marticus! We almost have the same timeline ... Jul 30 '14 - IN PROCESS & Aug 7 '14 - DECISION MADE. I believe this is a positive sign based on the forums that I've been reading several months now.

Hi edgehead, am pretty sure that you will be next. We had only a week difference in our PPR and we have the same destination :) I guess, the VO processes the application (given that the app is complete) based on the medical expiry date ... Mine is about to expire this Nov '14. Let's keep on praying. God bless us all :)

So we are at least 3 January Manila applicants that will be living in province of Quebec.
Yes its making sense that they are processing based on meds anniversary since the visa expires on that date. You got DM already?

Yeah, got DM last aug 7 and yes, will be living soon in the province of quebec. Went there last year and it's a nice place ... Good food, nice people but cold even on summer :) ... I think by next week, you will receive a great news :)

Is there a timesheet still being used for January 2014 applicants?
