Hi everyone,

I have an issue with ecas. I tried every possible type off authentication.
Then today I called CIC to ask them if they got my application that was delivered on Jan 27.
The guy asked me some identification questions and then he told me that the AOR was sent on March 17 (opening period is 1 month and 20 days)
Did someone had issue with ecas and then fixed with CIC? Thanks in advance

I just called CIC and they informed me that they just mailed my AOR and booklet on March 21 so I can expect it anytime soon in my mailbox. Regarding ecas, the lady told me that it is too early to check it at this point. It is not promptly updated by CIC. I hope this answered your question.

did u submit any supporting documents with your application like T4, NOA or employer letter? I didn't submit these with my application and was wondering if these could be helpful if I send them now?

Nah, I didnt. It's your call. If they're going to find reasons to delay your app they'll do it no matter what you send.

Received line for my wife disappeared but mine is still there. We submitted our applications as family of 2 adults and 2 Minors.
Any idea what may be the reason ?

I'm not sure which address they're using for my file. I have a different mailing and home address (two different provinces).

Hello all,
I have an update to share from my ECAS:
CIC received my application on January 28, 2014. They sent me a letter acknowledging receipt of my application(s), and a study book called Discover Canada on January 28, 2014. They started processing my application on March 21, 2014.
I suppose March 21 is my AOR date. I have not received anything by post yet.

I have received my AOR and booklet with a special notice mentioned: "Your Language Abilities" blah blah. Is it normal receiving a notice with Discover Canada Booklet?

AOR, Notice, and the Booklet Received on the 26th of March.

I have sent the application back in Jan 15th and they received it on the Jan 20th. I do not know my local office, they did not mention the local office in the AOR. For Language evidence I have provided my UK degree certificate (Masters) with a transcript mentioned English Medium.
