i think the only difficult part is the credential assessment, since it's new and we don't know exactly yet how long the process would take... let's just share any new info we can get!! goodluck to all of us and God bless!!! ;) ;) ;)

No, not until CIC announces which organizations have been chosen.

I am getting ready with my application under FSWP. Wanted to know when would CIC start accepting application for 2013? How would I know that they have started accepting application?

glad to see this thread. I am applying for second time and credential assessment is a bit confusion for me. I did PhD (biotechnology) and wanted to apply for NOC 2121. I am not clear if PhD need credential assessment before applying. Would appreciate if anyone here let me clear my confusion

I got undergraduate degree (Bachelor of Engineering) from India and graduate degree (Masters of Engineering) from Canada. Do I need to evaluate my education credential?

I'm afraid... senior Software engineers are not in the list...please go through the CIC for the occupations....from their renewed site....i guess there is no change in the occupations list....guys plz correct me if I'm wrong....

No, the changes in the policies are to be announced early 2013 .. There may be a change in NOC and for NOC 0 there may be a major change in requirements as far it is understood. However things remain unclear till the final news comes out....
