Thanks, these are comforting words. We couldn't have done it without the guidance and support on this great forum. I'm hoping we didn't muck anything up.
I checked and double checked everything, but some of those forms sure were very tricky.
I didn't have the option C so included a UK tax return, a letter explaining and some other stuff.
I'm self-employed and that doesn't make anything easier (in life)!
Here's to a speedy application!

My partner was approved without an option C, and being a student for the last 3 years, he only had 5 months employment total - and he was approved without problems. As long as you have a plan on how you will support yourself, you're good to go!

We included our plan to buy a home and information of ongoing payments I receive for past work and an email offering work in Canada.
Hopefully it will satisfy!

it will - no worries!

Sctv, we have a similar situation. My husband and I were together for 6 years before we got married last year. We didn't have a lot of proof, mostly just Skype records and snippets of other communication archives plus travel. We did include more than a hundred photos from 2006 'til 2012. I hope they see ours as a straightforward case as well. We met in school and were together in uni. We even included photos of us in our togas during graduation. Good times... Manila, please be kind to me!

and ecas cant see date of result received

Now that you have 10 posts you can add the information on the left, under your name. You can go to "profile" and then add the information there.
To be added to the spreadsheet : please post in the thread your Visa Office, when you sent the application and when it was received by CIC, and when you did the medical, and Amikety will add it.

Ecas doesn't always update about the medicals, so if it's not there, don't worry about it.
Good luck,
Sweden

I may have to leave this group...I will find out in a couple of days. I sent my package via next day courier through Canada Post on Tuesday Janaury 29 and was told it would be delivered the next day (Jan 30). Well I have looked online and called Canada Post and the package still seems to be "in transit." I wish I had used FedEx! There is a possibility that the package was delivered but not scanned. I live in Mississauga so it shouldnt take long to get to another address in Mississauga. I will get back my money from Canada post but if my documentation is lost I am literally screwed!

I hope not!

Canada post seems to be slow about updating online status for packages. We once ordered an item online. It showed as being in Windsor even after it was in my hands in Calgary. So don't despair yet. It may work out.
