hi sis...just sort of advise lang its better na u will use the lastname of your husband on your application para walang conflict process mo pero un nga lang u need to change all the necessary documents like passport.
Ung NSO ko took one and half month bago sila mag issue and saka pa lang ako nakakuha ng passport which is 2 weeks bago ka maissuehan ng new passport kasi required nila marriage license from NSO. If kukuha ka marriage license make it 3copies na agad...kasi u will need it to get your passport.

Nagpamedical ako sa Makati City
Susana Camille Timbol-Sanchez[/b]
SCTS Medical Clinic,
Unit 301-302, Midland Mansions Condominium,
839 Arnaiz Avenue (previously known as Pasay Road),
02 817 7510

Here are the requirements:
1) Fee = Php4500
2) 8pcs of passport size pics
3) 2 Copies of Appendix C
4) 3 Copies of your passport
They will issue a form as proof of your medical then you need to include it to your documents.

Hi maski!

Thanks for the info! Nagpa-sched Ka pa ba sa DFA for the passport? Dba nsa 2 months behind Ang appointment sa DFA Manila? How did you do it?

By the way, can you pls or anyone here show m the link re: instructions for medical? I mean kelangan ba ng appointment w/ the doctor/clinic? Or pwedeng punta na Lang Ako dun in advance?

At isa pang question pls, if ur passport is in ur married na, un ibang docs mo ba like NBI under married name na din dapat? Or kahit un passport Lang?

Sorry guys super lost Ako dito sa process :(

No need to sched an appointment for medical exams. It is a first come, first serve basis though. Instructions for medical are in the INFORMATION AND GUIDELINES country specific form. Your name much match all the documents you will be presenting. If you change your documents to your married name, then your status on all your documents should show "married" (e.g NBI clearance).

ADVICE TO EVERYONE CONFUSED WHETHER TO USE MAIDEN NAME OR SPOUSE'S LAST NAME:

CIC is not very particular whether you use your spouse's last name or your maiden name. It is OK to use your maiden name if you haven't changed your docs yet (like passport) AS LONG AS you have the MARRIAGE CERTIFICATE and ADVISORY ON MARRIAGE.

Note: CIC is more particular on whether the documents you submit are consistent.

Use exactly what's written on your passport that you're going to use. BUT if you're planning to change your passport and I.m sure you don't want to waste 2 months waiting for it. You can still go ahead and send a photocopy of your old passport with your application but just make sure to advice CIC as soon as you receive the new one.

Hi everyone

I just joined the forum today. However, I have been following this forum for sometime now.
I'm sponsoring my wife and we sent out the Outland application on Dec. 28, 2011 which CIC-M received on Jan 3rd, 2012.
The good news was I received an email from CIC-M today saying they got my application package and provided us with file No. This was the first email I received from CIC (36 days). ;D

Any idea how long it will take to finish the first stage?

Btw, my VO is Seoul

Cheers

tingin niyo, AOR ba yung nareceive nya? normal ba na binibigay na ung file number sa AOR? and sa sponsor pala ineemail un, i thought sa applicant. so kung consistent ang CPC-M sa pagsend ng AOR, you should be expecting yours anytime na @ MAKSI and @ XAVIER. sana nga consistent sila noh para lahat tayo makareceive ;D

EDIT: oo AOR nga daw yung nareceive hehehe. Still! not everybody receives AOR so sana we get ours too!

Possible talaga na AOR w/ file number yun sis... though sa case kasi ng Certificate Citizenship application ng 2 year old ko, when they email me the AOR included na yung UCI#. Since then nag che check na lang ako ng status niya on line. Lucky for this applicant, sana tayo rin :)

Thanks sa pagreply as well as to other bros/sisses here! Sorry nakikigulo Ako sa jan forum...

Sis clarify ko Lang un sinasabi mo na 8am Ka nagpunta tapos Natapos ng 11am sa NSo east ave un?

And btw 8 days for passport release? Galing nakapag-renew Ka agad! Nag pa schedule Ka ba sa DFA? Di ba may sched/appointment un?

hi sis sa nso main hihintayin mong marelease ung cert 2hours depende sa document na kkunin mo
Un marriage cert nakuha ko wihin the day, ung AOM ko after a week.

Tapos sa passport naman nagpasched ako through fone 737-1000 ung hotline nila. Mabilis na lang ngaun unlike before na months pa hihintayin for sched. Then pinarush ko and pinadeliver 10 days daw un but i got mine in 8 days.

sa Calgary sis. salamat sis, blessing tlaga. buti right move ako to apply in placement/ staffing agencies kasi sila na maghahanap ng work for you whether temporary, contract o permanent. mga companies kasi minsan mas gusto na nila na sa staffing agency magpapahanap ng employees nila. so tip ko lang din sa mga bagong dating, para mabilis makahanap ng work , apply sa mga staffing agencies =)
