for sure un nasa Manila Embassy un..Basta update ka agad if may nareceive ka na PPR.

if skilled worker daw po PR na daw sila... pwede na daw mag sponsor sa spouse nila..

yes, you can apply for open work permit. basically same process as if you are applying for a work permit but you will use your wifes work permit and if granted you will receive an open work permit with the same expiry as your wife...

Ang tagal namn dumating Ng passport ko :-[ 2 weeks na wala pa din

hi, it can take as few as a couple of weeks, but it can also take months for the passport to come back.

Finally got an email today from CIC...it states "This confirms that your application for permanent residence in Canada has been received by Citizenship and Immigration Canada (CIC) on 2012/01/13."... AOR, in other words.

thanks xavier, maksi & sarsicola. tumawag pa ako kaninang umaga sa CIC at nagtanong ng status ko, kahit man lang any info kung natanggap nila yung application ko. pero sabi ng sumagot, wala daw silang way to know kasi yung binubuksan eh yung mga jan 3 applications pa lang. pero pag recheck ko ng email ko kaninang hapon, meron na ngang AOR.
