CONGRATS!

So I guess there aren't many people out there, however, just wanted to report that on Dec 12th, 2012, my wife and I did a short trip to the North Portal border crossing so she could flagpole. So happy to have this over with, and no more bureaucratic bs for another 2 years 8 months when she can apply for citizenship :o

Best of luck to anyone still out there!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! If you are still waiting, your day will come soon!

Hello forum, just some good news my hubby got his CORP
on dec12th,right after his interview. We will be going home
tomorrow,so montreal here we come.Best of luck to the ones
waiting.

I've heard there are a few ways to land.. and it doesn't have to be at a boarder... but since I don't live too far... I think perhaps we might Flagpole at Niagara Falls... The second day we knew each other, I took her there for the day :) The one thing that was amazing to me... when i received the letter to redo my medicals.. it was just in regular mail... no signing or anything... and in the letter it stated that if they don't hear back 60 days from the letter, then they will assume that I no longer want to pursue the citizenship application.... when something is SO important.. the mail should be something that you have to sign for... not just regular mail.. had it been lost or given to a neighbour that doesn't return it, everything would be ruined... when I paid $1060, i would gladly pay $1070 and sign for anything like that. I wish Amanda would update the Spreadsheet... it is far from being accurate and i really want to see how others are doing too!

Dear All,

I am from Bangladesh and have applied under SINP Family referral category on 16-01-2012. My cousin assisting me as Supporting Family Member. And i have got my acknowledgement letter on 02-03-2012.

Now its been almost more than 09 months that i did not get any respond from them. Any idea about their next knocking time lines?

Will be great-full to your respond.

I am happy to join here and hope that we will share useful information.

Hi Ashfaq: Family referral Category under SINP is completely different than this Family Member Sponsorship Programme under Federal Immigration Ministry. Your programme is under Saskatchewan Provincial Government which has NO 'clue' at all with this family sponsorship. Please find a thread for provincial nominee programme. In addition, for many 'abuses' found in the family referral category under SINP, nowadays, it might take 3-4 years to complete a successful process. Please find someone who personally has experience in that particular category. Hope this helps to understand your situation. Good Luck.

hi ashfaq
hope my answer find you good !
basically SINP has received unprecedented number of application last year and thats is why it is taking so long
I had a conversation with SINP manager last week and he is one who gives the permission for nomination
he jst infrmed me the processing time for sinp nomination is 18 months .
so hopefully you will hear from them after 18 months
best of luck
