Hi guys.what does decision made mean.does it mean passport is ready for pick up and can I go pick it or will they will call me to go pick it,will they send me an email or will they call to say its ready for collection please guys im confused

Thanx for replying each time.

Not that lucky to get Decision made so soon.Was just trying to figure out and understand the process.

This is interesting... after I "landed" my ECAS record was wiped... I log in and its just blank. Very odd.
 
:) :) :) :) :) :) :) :) :) :) :) :) :) :) :) :) Great News!!!, received today by courier from Sydney Immigration, large registered post envelope including CONFIRMATION OF PERMANENT RESIDENCE official document, so I'm very happy about that!!!, It is the best present I could ever imagine arriving a few days after my June 19 birthday on June 22. :). Thank you Canada Immigration. The wait is finally over. So it took about 5 months in all since CIC received our application. Happy times ahead. Hope everyone gets their permanent residence very soon!!!.
Congrats to everyone that has got their Permanent Residence. missmini I'm hoping yours should be finalized very soon too, it should be just around the corner. :), and everyone else don't worry it's coming!!.

Just so you know Permanent Residence Confirmation arrived Friday, June 22. I just copied and pasted that from facebook post I made earlier.

cuz u don't need it anymore ;););) they just want to save ressources i guess ;) but it's actually normal - my old records were not there anymore either but i'm not sure how long they stayed there after the procedure was completed :) congrats on ur landing as a pr (finaaaaaaally)!!

Edit: or maybe it's not wiped out just archived; at the moment u'll apply for citizenship or other things it will b back up ;)
 
Hi,

My wife provided the passport on 4th april,2012 and then they asked for photos which were provided on 8th may.. havent heard from them yet?? anything i can do from my ide as no updates on cic.gc.ca

i told u Sydney office is fast it would b nice if all embassies would work like that; thank u so much for your thoughts i really really hope so ;D ;D ;D

each embassy is different; they could call for the interview or email or letter; they could call for passport submission or email or letter; but honestly i never heard of them calling when the visa is stamped; they either handed it in person or they just mail it back; but again each embassy has its own way....try to ask ppl going through the same embassy as u; but if u mail it i think it could take up to 6 weeks to get it back; congrats on ur visa!! :)

by the way, for the ones living or going to Quebec, Bonne St Jean!! ;D ;D ;D

Dont worry, they will send the passport back to the address you have mentioned in your application.
 
So in short they don't have to inform me they will just send.I gotta go check my post box maybe they sebt
 
Hi,

I received my GCMS notes.

Medical: Passed
Eligibility: Not started
Security clearance : not started
Criminality clearance : not started

It did not mentioned anything about Interview. Does it mean that its waived?

Appriciate any comments.
