Hi Guys....
first off all congrats to the ones who got there PR dis soon.....really happy for u alll....
i'm also a dec 2011 applicant.....my file was approved and sent to the islamabad embassy on the 30th of jan 2012.......since then my online status is "Application Received".....
can any one of u help me dat does the status change online wen they start working on the application?? i 'm really worried and stressed.......as 9 months are about to pass.......may Allah help us all and grant us wid the visa very soon....inshallah and ameen....

I've seen ppl here who got their visa in the same year of applying....so plz help me tooo.....

This is Jan. 2012 thread!
Each case is different and waiting+ processing time for different countries are different! I would suggest joining a thread of applicants from the same country

Hi everyone,

Just thought I'd let you know that our approval came through last week! We're really excited. Due to work, we'll be waiting until December before heading to Canada (not really looking forward to arriving in the winter, but we'll survive)

Hello forum,i am canadian sponsoring my husband,my application was mail in january
approve,reive word from pos in april and no more word so far,send emails no word.But i can
see it's not my one.I am very happy for the one that got their landing.

For Singapore Vos application, if you are in Singapore I suggest you guy go visit them. They are super nice and very helpful in person. Maybe they can help to speed things up.

We requested for GCMS notes last September 11 since we were the only ones left from the Jan-Manila batch who has yet to receive a DM on our application to be sent electronically (e-mail)

My husband received a letter from the office to his surprise today , unfortunately, the letter that he received did not contain the notes that we were expecting rather a letter whose Applicants Name, Visa Office and even the indicated date when the request was sent WERE WRONG.

The letter is addressed to my husband but

My name is far from being a Chinese Name ( I am a Filipino), our visa office is Manila not Hongkong, and again we sent our request on September 11 not August -something.

This is just far too depressing, the feeling that we were left out because even those who applied in March, some had received DMs already.
We were relying on those notes so atleast we would have an idea why our application has been taking so long, but this happened.

It's a sad sad day, to think we had to wait for almost a month and we ended up with nothing.

My husband will call and email the concerned department/ office to clarify this mistake. My mother-in-law was even suggesting that they go to the office themselves but we told her that we would not be entertained if they just walk-in.

we requested ours on the middle of Sept, i thought we r almost there but it looks not; on my side, i made the request by email and ask them to get them by email too; i'll keep u updated!!
maybe u'll get better news than the notes good luck!!

But again, the thing was how inaccurate can they be? They addressed the letter to my husband but everything that is indicated on that piece of paper were wrong! from the applicants name, to the visa office, to the date when the GCMS notes request was sent.

hmmm that's bad....maybe he call 2tell them or send them an email...if not i would just make another request again and somewhere mention that u r requesting it 2nd time, after an unseccessfull 1st try :

They never respond to emails nor calls...there is a voice mail...you won't talk to a person
I have contacted the MP again however his office won't interfer because I'm within the f???ing processing times...even with all the BS we get from incorrect information to missing files...Is this really an organization?
I'm very very frustrated...
