I'll update the spreadsheet for you guys this afternoon....

Januarians, feel free to save the link in your signature footer so it's handy all the time!

Ok spreadsheet has been updated! Again if there is any missing info from your row pls let me know.

Our first row team members are quickly approaching the time frame based on cic's website...and based on how fast the December applicants are being approved we should really see some activity early next week!

Keep us posted everyone we'll need each others support over the next few weeks!

Hmmm looks like none from Janurian's have received AOR / Approval yet.

Does anyone already???

Hi everyone

I just joined the forum today. However, I have been following this forum for sometime now.
I'm sponsoring my wife and we sent out the Outland application on Dec. 28, 2011 which CIC-M received on Jan 3rd, 2012.
The good news was I received an email from CIC-M today saying they got my application package and provided us with file No. This was the first email I received from CIC (36 days). ;D

Any idea how long it will take to finish the first stage?

Btw, my VO is Seoul

Cheers

Cypher...is this AOR?

Hi, I sent my spousal sponsorship documents on Feb 7 and according to ups. they received on Feb 8. Do u know whether they will send me any email as a document received confirmation ? or we will only get final approval if all documents are properly compiled after 50-55 days ?

Really appreciate your help.

You are looking at atleast 40 days from the date you submitted to get acknoledgement that they recieved your documents.

Congratulations my friend.

Even i submitted my application on Dec 28th and it reached them on Jan 3rd as per Canadapost. But I haven't got any AOR yet from CIC :(

I dont know. I am just being positive about something in the next couple of days and I hopefully would not be in a situation to hit the Panic button... ???

Thank you, Srinivas. What is the current processing time from start to finish?

Thanks

Depends on your VO

From what i've read... things that can slow down an application are your V/O.. if you gave enough reasonable proof to avoid an interview, no military background checks, paying your permanent resident fee ahead of time, having a medical exam that hasn't expired, clear photo copy's.. that's just off the top of my head.. but it seems like a majority of people get processed well below the posted time.. I think they are including a much broader range of applications than just straight forward spousal sponsorships. Good luck with everything !!

All,

I sent my spousal sponsorship application via UPS (Next day delivery) . And it was received and signed by person name SAM at case processing center - Mississauga .

Does any one has their documents signed by SAM ?

Thanks

Some of November and October applicants are waiting as well. Let's hope and pray that all our applications will be granted soon. :)
