My landing process will b in Montreal itself as that will b my port of entry...i was told that i dnt require a CSQ..as i have a connecting flight to calgary i wunt b needing one..im jus worried bout the procedure in Montreal

the procedure in Montreal is the same as in the other places with the requirement of this extra document, the CSQ; yes u don't require CSQ since u will reside in Alberta but i'm not sure if the actual landing procedure will be done in Montreal or u'll just show them the connecting flight and u'll do the procedure in Calgary.....
i know ppl who travelled to Ottawa or Toronto via Montreal so it is fine to have the ticket like that; however i don't know where they did the "landing"; why don't u make a new thread with ur question; maybe others know

What are GCMS notes? And how do you apply for them?
GCMS notes are computer generated notes about your case, you can get all information about your application. you can get reason for interview also, why did they decide to schedule an interview for you.
you need to be in Canada to apply but your wife can order GCMS notes for you. sometime it takes 5-6 weeks to get these notes so you should apply asap. there are 2 forms you need to download, you need to sign one consent form authorizing your wife to get information about your case from CIC.

Hey Ashunandal...i think you can be more expressive in an interview then showing your proof on documents...i mean when i came down to canada with my parents we were all called in at the NEW DELHI EMBASSY for an interview..majority of the questions were for my DAD because he was the main applicant and we were asked about out future plans in canada.....

The officers that holds the interview are really nice and they are very smart at the same time....they ll cross check all the info that you had on the application in a very smart way...

so as long as your case is ligid and you know that you are not doing anything fishy....there is no way they can decline you...

Sumit....

we are living together for more than a year and half, we know everything about each other(past, present and future) and families also. im reading old posts on different threads and found that VO are **** not smart, they just try to be smart. even if we are telling truth, they can say "ohh no you are lying'".they called one couple for interview in US and wife was pregnant and VO said "im not sure if its your husband's baby or not" do you think its smartness?? i know our relationship is genuine and they cant force us to stay in different countries. we would be happy to settle down here in India but my wife's health is not good, she is visiting doctors almost everyday and was hospitalized for few days for serious health problem. she has allergy to dust and hot weather otherwise we would never think about immigration. now as we have decided to immigrate, no one can stop us not even those "smart" V Officers.
thanks a lot for your advice :)
