hi mit8383
sorry to hear that but some of applicants from ND are getting PPR by mail not email. i think your PPR is also coming slowly-2 by Indian post, i hope you will receive within next few days.
best of luck :)
My file was transferred on April 5th, but haven't gotten a PPR yet. I don't think there is logic, or one that I can think of, behind the PPR request timing.

ohhh wooow,
dont know whats going on with ND VO, i think you should contact ND or maybe your MP. they might have sent your PPR to wrong email address, they always do that kind of mistakes >:( >:( i dont know what is logic behind PPR, if you look at ND spreadsheet you will find someone got ppr in 3 days or some didnt even after 1 month of file transfer. hope everything is fine
good luck :)

Why don't you order CAIPS? I am waiting for my status to go to In Process too and I plan to order CAIPS if a month passes by without any change.

How to order CAIPS:

Another update just showed up it now says we have started processing **********application in 17th may.....what's the next step

Does anyone know how much luggage we can carry? I'll be going to Vancouver from Bombay and I want to be sure of how much I can carry, beforehand. Does a spouse visa entitle us to carry more than a regular visitor? Please help!

It's up to the airline how much luggage you can bring. Just have everything on your b4.

Our ECAS has now been updated to "In Process" from "Application Received"."

It reads the following now:
We received xxxxx xxxx's application for permanent residence on January 19, 2012.
We started processing xxxx xxxx's application on May 18, 2012.
Medical results have been received.

Do you guys know what the next timeline is going to be?

Cheers,

Hi rv_Maria,

Good to know that your application is in process.

I m still waiting 'in process' status.

My situation is different.

As I work and live in UAE, I did not send my passport when it was requested on 17th April 2012. So I requested New Delhi VO to resend PPR at the final review of my application.

And on 5th May I received an email from New Delhi that, they have accepted my request to submit my passport at the final review of my application.

God knows, how long will VO take to start my application process. ???? :(

Don't worry Fadil80. I am pretty sure you will receive the passport request soon once the all the security checks have been done by ND.

Between - just wanted to let you know that I was born and bought up in UAE and when you come to Canada, you will dearly miss Dubai. So on the upside, enjoy your time in UAE (though I know that you would much rather be with your spouse).

Cheers,
