Hey guys
I m worried about my online status I applied 30nov i got file number and uci number on same date but after that I haven't got any update on file not medical or eligibility review nothing.. all u guys whom still waiting for visa at least got something like medical updated or eligibility review start but I haven't got anything ☹ Is it normal?

We have the same experience. I lodged my application last Nov. 12 unfortunately as of today the status is is on progress.
My classes will start on january 22.

Yeah mine too same I don't know what they mean progress they are not even doing anything on our files . You still have time hope you get visa before classes start I already defer my course to may,2018 because 12th was last date for my college late registration

Hi did you pay the semester fee for Jan? If you paid the fee, will u be able to get a refund if VISA takes too long or rejected?

What is happening to our application. As of checking today still no update on the status. It make get nervous because I dont know what to do if im going send follow-up to embassy or just wait until the final decision made.

You guys should keep up with the embassy. Try contacting them with a formal email, although it will not help much. But, it could mean something to you seeing a reply from them.
I sent them about 50 email, they always replied. They stopped replying for two weeks exactly, then they cotacted me telling me to submit my passport.
Good luck to you all, keep praying to Allah.

Inshallah... Bro what does deffered means exactly ? I mean they keep your file and reconsider for next intake or u have to apply again ?

Deferred the University semster intake from Winter to Summer or from Fall to Winter.
The embassy will keep processing your application and they do not deferr applications. It just take some time.
