Hi All,

I am curious to know if anyone has got any update from CIC on the parent and Grandparent interest application submitted for 2017 ?
I also applied the interest application, but have not heard of anything yet.

Any comments/ inputs from anyone.

Cheers
Sharat

Hi,
Can you tell me the processing time for getting parent sponsorship visa?
It will be from New Delhi visa office, India.

Just an average time would be fine.
Thanks.

I applied for my mother too and no response yet. :-[

I have a question- I am looking to sponsor my common law partner this year. Am I able to sponsor him and my mother if I meet the financial requirement? They will be 2 separate applications but under the same class.

One of my known confirmed that he got email reply from CIC today. So sounds like people started getting email about 2017 Lottery results. I am waiting for mine. Keep checking your email and update here if you get something.

Even I got the reply from IRCC regarding the lottery result.
My result was negative. Hope others get positive results.

All the best.

Lottery has been done, there were over 95,000 applicants and 10,000 have been randomly selected. All interested applicants have been informed either way by email on 25 April, 2017 with 90 day period for sending in the documents to CIC with deadline (last day) as 24 July, 2017. Congrats to those who got selected.

Hi

I am born in India ,having PR in Canada, selected for lottery ,i don't have birth certificate and my parents don't have marriage certificate, what's best way to get these two certificates or any other acceptable alternative? Like for birth certificate can be use 10th marks certifate which have my date my birth and my parent name on it, and for parents marriage cericate can be use affidavit because they got married in 1978 so there was no marriage certicate like register marriage,

Pls suggest the best way.

Hi Deep,

I'm not aware about what you should do in this case, but I've got a thread, which might help you out.

Please follow this link.
