Congrats!! NS87 ... wishing you the finish line very soon

Would you happen to know who SN87 is? maybe a relative of yours?

Thanks TDS! Nope don't know who SN87 is. My status did change to decision made today though, just 3 days after the test!

I haven't been called to the test even :'( :'( :'(

The reason why I asked about SN87 is because his/her timeline is almost identical to mine, and according to the tracker, he/she hasn't been invited to the test either. I just to touch base with him/her to see if that's really the case.

someone seems to have put in a bunch of random oath dates in the January spreadsheet - my row was highlighted red and there was an oath date in there. i have not yet received my oath so deleted the date and changed the colour back to yellow...

Took Oath of Citizenship in Saskatoon, my immigration journey concludes with this. Here is my timeline:

Application Received: 2015-Jan-15
AOR: 2015-Mar-03
In-Process: 2015-May-20
Invitation for test: 2015-July-29
Test Date: 2015-Aug-18
Decision Made: 2015-Sept-04
Oath: 2015-Nov-10

Best of Luck to fellow applicants who are waiting for their 'oath of citizenship'.

Hello everyone,
As of today, I got the test invitation, finally, but couldn't be happy.
I almost didn't go anywhere last summer by waiting the test date, and Murphy's rule, I arranged a trip with my family 2 weeks ago. Yes, my test date is in the same week !
I already paid for all tickets. It seems there is no chances to payback,by it means it is already too late to postpone my trip. There are 2 ways : I will cancel my trip and there is nothing to do what I paid or I'll ask postpone for test date.

I quickly searched from web, but couldn't find out any real case. Some people say asking a postpone means default RQ while the others say at least 8 month delay.Very pessimistic comments.

Did someone had the similar experience for postpone request ? I still really don't know what to do...

If you can not cancel your trip, then take it anyway. Whether or not you inform CIC that you'll miss your test, you will be rescheduled for the next available test day for your local office. The ONLY draw back is that, there's no telling when you will be rescheduled. This of course will delay you further and should NOT be a surprise to you.

In my case, it was about a month later: http://www.canadavisa.com/canada-immigration-discussion-board/jan-2015-citizenship-applicants-t262714.0.html;msg4485239#msg4485239
