No movement on my file yet. Still shows as 'received'.

have received AOR since Mar.6 by email. and eCAS shows received since Mar.7. wish it could be in process soon.

and some Feb applicants receive AOR around the same time as Jan applicants. don't even know how cic work any more...

No movement yet on mine too. Still 'received' since 1st week of Mar.

After AOR, there's a massive slowdown for "in process"
We can see this is where they should put more bodies to work on.

My application was transferred to Vancouver on March 6! :)

where is your local office?
lol i really wish i could get my citizenship done before september. I am graduating this summer and have 3 months free before grad school
HOPE EVERYONE CAN GET THEIR CITIZENSHIP ASAP :) GOOD LUCK ALL

Hi Friend ,

I need your help. Today my citizenship application return to me due incomplete document.

I received letter stating like this:

Dear Sir/Madam,

This child's application for canadian citizenship was considered incomplete and was not processed and fee were not taken. The child's application and proof of payment are therefore returned to you for the following reason:

The foreign lanaguage document that have been translated are missing.we require copies of the foreign language documents and their translations.

Please could anyone help to know I need to repay the full fee for 3 person or only for Child fee? and I already send the translation document last time but i will dent orgiginal document copy of foreign lanaguage document and same translated which i attached first time. or i need to re translat it then send it back?

Please help me and confuse.

Thanks

Hi Arvind,

From what you have written, it appears that you do not have to repay any fees. The application for the child was not processed because it was incomplete. When you re-send the application for that child, you should be able to attach the same receipt for fees that you attached the first time, because as it said in the letter you received, 'the fees were not taken.' It appears that all you need to do is check carefully over the application, and for any foreign language document, you must include both a copy of the original, AND a translated copy. Which shouldn't be a problem, as I'm sure you still have both of those in your possession!

Long story short: no need to repay fees. No need to re-translate documents. Just include both a copy of the original, AND the English translation for any foreign documents next time.

I hope this makes sense. I'm not a lawyer or anything, but that is my take on it! Anyone else?
