Starting a new thread on submission and status of PCC and certificate of date of birth applications given at CGI Toronto. I submitted mine today. Will update status when I get those.

Procedding time: Same 6 weeks for PCC and 10 days gor DOB certificate.

seniors, please share your experience as well regarding the waiting time when one applies for both PCC and DOb @ CGI.

There might be many at 9 am but by 10.30 am rush comes down.

PCC takes for sure more than 4 weeks to nobody knows. its 4 weeks for me now. Best thing is if you know somebody can do it on behalf of you from INDIA , will be best or if you are planning to apply for CEC after 2 months then you can take a change in this stupid CGI office toronto.

In general during PCC process,

will the Indian Police Dept send physical/hard copy of PCC to CGI by post and the same will be given to us here by the CGI

OR

Indian Police Dept will send CGI a code/message electronically and the CGI will print PCC here itself based on that code to give it to us?
