@471 points, waiting to receive an ITA ::)

Don't worry, you will get that...They update your profile and also made links in there to process further so it takes time... :)

Hi Guys,

To remove the hassle of getting foreign work experience reference letters, I took out that from my EE profile since I still have enough points for an invite (which I got today). There is no risk of misrepresentation if I am not claiming points for that exp right? I can put that work exp in the personal history section. Do I need to add an LOE to explain?

Secondly, I am CEC so I do not need proof of funds. So the letter that CIC states I should upload stating that I do not need POF as I am CEC, I should upload in the same section where I would upload proof of funds right? Not as a a letter of explanation at the bottom of the checklist?

I think you are thinking in the right direction.

Hey, congrats on the ITA! Which letter is it that CIC states, we should upload indicating we don't need to show POF since we are CEC?

Hi everyone and congrats to people who got ITA today. I also recieved ITA as well but I am somewhat in mixed emotions.
I currently live in Turkey and lived in US between 2007-2009 therefore I have to get a Police Certificate from FBI. I am aware of the long wait period for this which is 12-14 weeks to be exact. This clearly exceeds 90 days so my question is this:
-Can I ask for the Identity Check now and tell CIC that I will send them later?
-Should I decline the ITA and take my chance on the next draw while I apply for Identity check to gain some time? I am at 462 CRS points.
-Does anyone know any agencies in Turkey where I can have my fingerprints taken, or is there any list of agencies sorted by countries??

thanks eveyone!

Does our job bank registration should be active to get the ITA....sitting at 461....

Hey thanks man. see here

http://www.cic.gc.ca/ENGLISH/helpcentre/answer.asp?qnum=1145&top=29

Says you do not need POF for CEC invite. But it says to upload a letter stating that. 90% I think it has to be uploaded in the same slot for proof of funds, but i wanted to check if it is there or under 'Letter of explanation' as letters explaining anything go there

Yes because I received a mail a few days back when it was going to expire due to non-activity. Then I logged in and logged out of it to keep it active.

I applied through a lawyer....so not sure if I got the ITA..... I just don't know what to do now

I also received that email informing the status of profile shall be deactivated if not logged in within 5 days... just login to your account and that would suffice the requirement of active Job profile at Job Bank...

Just logged in to the profile and got stunned to see that I got the ITA!!! What a pleasant surprize :o
However, I'm not sure what to do now? Do I have to recieve the ITA or it's been automatically recieved when I logged in?
BTW, congratz to all who've got the ITA. The real journey begins now.
