Other than having to update your address, nothing.

Hi everyone!

I have a question regarding proof of funds. We have been saving up for a few years and currently all of our Canada money in an investment fund. It has remained untouched since march 2016, only increasing with interest. Do you all think I'd still need to show my checking account statements for the past 6 months? Final balance each month is virtually zero. The reason I ask is because I'll need to have everything translated and notorized, which is time consuming and expensive in my country, so there'd be no reason to sweat over this unless absolutely necessary... I was thinking about providing latest statement only to show I have no outstanding debts or loans.

Hi
need help please...urgent....

I gave my urine test , blood tests and x-ray for upfront medical....
after a week the doctors office calls me and tells me to redo just the x-ray and urine test, has anyone encountered the same problem or what may be the reason....
nervous....
Hi there, I guess you have no option but to show up and redo the tests. Try to stay positive, maybe there was an issue with the system and they lost your results ;). I hope everything turns out fine, but I would go asap, just get it over with.

Only provide the account where you have the minimum required funds.

Guys, there are some stamps in Hebrew in my husband's passport. Is there a need to translate them?

AOR submitted today january 31st, but i discovered a particularly big error with my application.

In my appication forms, i have only filled my first name in my 'given name' i only got to know minutes ago, i should have added my middle name. :( :(

How do i rectify this mistake ?

Hello everyone :)

I am really confused, what is the difference between those two questions ?
1.Has (Applicant Name) been refused refugee status, or an immigrant or permanent resident visa (including a Certificat de sélection du Québec (CSQ) or application to the Provincial nominee Program) or visitor or temporary resident visa, to Canada or any other country?

2.Has (Applicant Name)ever been refused a visa or permit, denied entry or ordered to leave Canada or any other country?:
I have been refused a schengen visa before with no reason stated for rejection, applied again after one year and got it (both on the old passport)

should I mention that under Question 1 or 2 ?

Please help :-X

In my understanding the answer to the first question is definitely yes. I'm not sure about the second one but it asks "have you ever been refused a visa", so also yes, I think. At least I'm planning to answer yes to both since I also was refused a visa. And in explanation section I will write the same explanation for both.

refusal for schengen visa should be mentioned under 2. Has (Applicant Name)ever been refused a visa or permit, denied entry or ordered to leave Canada or any other country?

OK so I'm very close to having everything ready to upload and then pay.

For Proof of Funds I have to submit 6 months of statements as TD can't do me an average. My girlfriend has paid me money back that she owed me, over the course of the last 6 months. This meant my account went from around 8k to 12.5k over time. Random amounts here and there but the biggest is $2900 so I think it's best to get a Gift Deed done totalling it all up.

I'm currently in Calgary.

How do I go about drafting up a Gift Deed and do I need to get it notarized or can I just type something up and have her sign it? Anyone know how it's done IN Canada?

Ta!

If the $2900 was repayment of debt why complicate things and call it a gift? Write an LOE to include with the statement. I am not an expert but figure it's a lot smarter to stick to the facts. Cheerio.

Thanks Pippin.

I just wonder whether this will suffice as couldn't anyone just say 'X owed me money and now they've returned it'.? It helps that the pay back has been gradual but I feel like the gift deed route gives it more solidity.
