I have also some queries, experienced members who have already sent their application, kindly respond to these queries :

1>How to pay the Fee of 550$? I have gone to some banks including standard chartered in Karachi, they told me that they dont make drafts in Canadian Dollar for Skilled Worker Immigration,do any one know some place in Pakistan especially Karachi wherefrom I can pay that Fee of 550$.An Exchange Company has given me a form and told me that they can pay that Immigration Fee provided I give them Photocopy of my Identity Card and Application Form! What should I do? In their Form they have asked for Beneficiary A/C No. , Beneficiary Bank , Address , Sort Code , Swift Code ,Correspondent Bank ,What should I write in these Boxes? Please guide me in that.. Should I make Demand Draft of 550$ or 600$ as if some amount is being deducted during this process by Banks,I might not become the victim of Underpayment..

2> Do we have to attach Photograph in the Initial Application Form as there is a space that has been provided in Application for Permanaent Residency in Canada Form? Also they have mentioned that if you have some Identity Card number, then you have to provide a Photocopy of it.Please Clarify......

3>I have seen a Post in this Forum where it was written that we have to send Photocopy of the Passport with the Initial Application Form,do we have to submit any documents with this Application or not?

4>Do one has to fill all the Application Forms including Schedule 1 Background Declaration/ Schedule 3 Economic Classes-Fedral Skilled Workers/Application for Permanaent Residency in Canada Form & Additional Family Information!

I am sending my Form through DHL,is that okay?

I am absolutely new to this process, dont have a clue how that whole process works ,so please pardon me for any low IQ queries :) but I want responses to all of these queries...........

1) will wait for someone from pakistan to answer.
2) no photos when sending to sydney, ns
3) yes photocopy of passport, thats the only document to sydney ns alone with checque, application form and address labels.
4) there are 4 forms if you are applying by yourself with no representative. If there is a rep, then one more form. If more family members over the age of 18, then each of them have to fill some of those 4 forms out (not all the forms, just two of them, forgot which one).

You should manage to visit DOLLARS EAST(foreign currency dealer) Office located in all big cities of pakistan. They will definitely arrange a draft for you in Canadian Dollars as I used the same procedure. If you can let me know where you reside at the moment, I can give you couple of address nearby i.e....lahore, karachi,

Thanks

Please visit DOLLARS EAST OFFICE in Karachi. They will arrange a draft for you in Canadaian Dollars. However, you will incure additional surcharges of about Rs.1500.Also, you don't need to know about any bank reference or beneficiary details.Just let them know that you require a draft in CAD $550 in favor of 'Receiver General For Canda" -make sure it this is spell correctly.

For Address label,do I have to print my Residential Address on a paper slip? Secondly do I have send some self Addressed envelope with Postal Stapms or on it? Lastly do I have keep my Application in the Envelope size CIC has mentioned in its Instruction Guide or I can send it in the envelopr of any size? Do the Dollar East Exchange Company require ay documents for making that Demand Draft?

What if a person is claiming for Basic Proficiency in French in the Initial Application and unable to prove that or provide required results in TEF for Basic Proficiency.
1>How that impacts your Application?
2>When CIC,Sydency send you the Approval Letter,do they mention the Breakdown of your points that how many points one is able to get after Assessment?
3>Lastly I have heard that the only thing that happens is that the Claimed Points for Frech Language will be deducted from the Overall Ponts,is that correct?

I did it on a normal A4 paper, but it would be good if you could do it on an one-side adhesive paper. Not need for self addressed envelope with stamps (how will you get Canadian stamps). Where do they mention envelope size. At least I didn't see it.

thanks. you asked this question somewhere else, and i answered there.

1) I dont think there will be an impact as long as you have 67 points without French (remember i am no expert so i am guessing).

2) CIC did not give me a breakdown of my points. CIO in Sydney only looks at the ministerial requirement (i think).

3) i think so as well. Well, you can always send them a letter to say that you decided not to take the TEF due to the cost but I really don't think this is necessary.

Today I have registered at French Cultural Centre, Alliance d Francais.People there told me that currently TEF is being held in Pakistan, the only exam to prove Language Proficiency in French is TCF which is specifically for Quebec. When I told them that CIC requires TEF result, they said that the Certificate we will give you at the end of this course will be more than enough to prove Basic Proficiency in French.I really dont know whether tha Certificate will work for mw or not! Now that TEF is not being conducted in Pakistan, this remains the only option.Whats your opinion on that?
Lastly lets suppose if I am not reaching the Pass Mark of 67 without French,I have claimed for Basic Proficiency in French and if I am not able to achieve Basic Proficiency in French ,do people at CIC notify me that without French I am not reaching that 67 Points. Kindly respond to both queries..........

Suggest you contact the Alliance Francais see: http://www.ambafra-pk.org/article.php3?id_article=405 as they administer the TEF, The TCF won't fly if, Canada Immigration accepted the TCF, then they would approve it wouldn't they. http://www.afislamabad.org/Certification.html
