Hey guys i'm having doubt regarding proof of fund. I live in Germany and according to deutsche Bank (my bank), proof of fund statement is not usual in Germany and there is no guarantee if the bank will sign the letter personally. Anyone here has experience with german bank?
Thank you.

Folks need help with how to represent Personal History post ITA.

Say I worked in company X between Jan 2015 and June 2018 in the USA. During that period I traveled to India twice in May 2015 and July 2016 (I have mentioned these as 2 trips in travel history and in Work history, for that period I have maintained one entry). In that case which one of these is a better way to represent in the personal history section.

Option A
Since To Activity Type Employer Country Description
Jan 2015 June 2018 Employment X USA Working as YY
May 2015 May 2015 Employment X India Took a vacation
July 2016 July 2016 Employment X India Took a vacation

Option B

Since To Activity Type Employer Country Description
Jan 2015 May 2015 Employment X USA Working as YY
May 2015 May 2015 Employment X India Took a vacation
May 2015 July 2016 Employment X USA Working as YY
July 2016 July 2016 Employment X India Took a vacation
July 2016 June 2018 Employment X USA Working as YY

Or Option C, not to mention these trips in Personal history as they are already mentioned in Travel history section?

Hi all,

I am unable to see the client information(letter of explanation) link in my profile, though it appeared the first time the documents checklist was generated...
Is there anyone who has faced a similar issue n how can I resolve this?
Please help.

Thanks

Seconding option C-- that's basically what I did. There would be no point to having the travel history separate otherwise. :P

Well, I've gotten one of my employee reference letter back in perfect format. Unfortunately for the second employee reference that I need my manager is not responding (as of yet). How does the following plan sound, as evidence for my LOE that I tried to get a reference.

* Initial email to manager requesting reference.
* Wait two weeks than send followup email to manager.
* Wait one more week, than send an email directly to the HR department.
* If still no luck, wait one more week and follow up with HR department.
* If still no luck, wait one more week and then email a colleague (hopefully doesn't get past this).

Then attach an LOE with the above emails as evidence. Does this sound okay? Any recommendations as to how to approach this differently?

this might help with non rejection, but your case might go into 'review needed' for this employment and will get delayed several months. suggest you get your letter in proper format and get it signed by a colleague and provide proof that he works there (an ID card or something)

Not sure if I was clear, but I would expect, that if I can't get my manager or HR to provide the proper letter, than I will be able to get a colleague to sign a letter (not on company letterhead though), and can get a scan of their business card. And then mention in the LOE that my manager/HR wouldn't supply it as per emails. So if I can do that, do you think it would go into a 'review needed' phase?

Depends on the agent. Your colleague might get a call.

Guys i have scanned multiple pages of this forum for an answer and although i have seen contradictory answers, my understanding is as below. Please provide your inputs and confirm this.

In education history, I have mentioned only my masters, for which I am claiming points. I have not mentioned my bachelor's degree. (I don't even have an ECA for it)

Also in personal history, since my bachelor's degree was completed more than 10 years ago, I have not mentioned it.

There shouldn't be an issue with that..right? Some threads are suggesting that even though you are claiming points only for your master's degree, still the bachelor's degree certificate needs to be included in the post-ITA education history section. I disagree with that notion and think that mentioning only master's in education history is fine.

Thoughts??

I'm in the same boat and showed only masters. No mention of bachelors as it's over 10 yrs ago.

Yep thats what everyone i know has done.

If the visa officer feels he can always ask Additional Documents but for submission purposes mentioning just the masters is ok.
