I guess CIC is trying hard to finalize those FEB and MAR AORs, meanwhile APR and MAY AORs are stacking up quickly.

if people honestly got their status changed that fast, then hopefully CIC is working more efficiently, which can be a good news.

I totally agree... I still did not see any one getting PPR from April application....except 1-2 people outside Canada got it...

I think our files are remained untouched since basic processing conducted (Medical in my opinion), but they will get to them soon.

My last update was received on 6th of May, and they are taking quite some time to determine my eligibility, but it's way better than instant cancellation or rejection.

We've come this far, I don't mind wait longer if the service is good.

yeah... nothing happening in the past few weeks :( waiting......

hello all,

just a question to all the frequent users of this forum.

What is the usual expected timeline after someone gets a third line on e-cas?

Also, does a third line indicate anything? (Documents are complete, I should be expecting an acceptance, eligilibility has been verified?)

My timeline:

ITA: March 27
PR App Submitted: May 25
Application/profile status: Open (May 25)
Review of eligibility: Review in Progress (Since May 25)
Review of medical results: Passed (Since June 2)
Review of submitted documents: No additional documents are needed at this time (Since June 2)
Scheduling an interview: Not needed at this time (Since June 2)
A background check is needed: Not Started (Since June 2)
A final decision has been reached: Not Started (Since June 2)

ecas status: Application Received

1.We received your application for permanent residence on January 26, 2015.
2.We started processing your application on March 8, 2015.
3.Medical results have been received. (Since June 7)

I've had the 3 lines in ECAS for 5 weeks now. Some members reported moving to the 4th line (and PPR) in a matter of few weeks. Each case is unique - no one knows for sure.

One thing seems to be true - if you're applying from outside Canada, you are in for a long wait.

Thanks for the reply.

I was being optimistic and hoping that things are moving fast :(

BG in process too since May 22 and my ita is March 20

Can anyone tell me what is the difference between two line and three line Ecas status

Mine is

We received your application on May 13
Medical results have been received

How long is the wait? Shouldn't CIC process Express Entry applications within 6 months?

Cheers,

Samer

It looks like you are missing the line that says, " your application is in progress on <date>. I'm not sure if it really matters or not. It seems like sometimes the ECAS in not as up to date as mycic. Of course for every person saying that someone says it's the opposite for them. ;)

My ecas earlier was

Application received January 27
Application in process March 8

Then it changed to
Application received may 13
Medical received with ecas status of application received

Uh, that's different from most. Usually you keep the first two and then the medical one is added which brings it to a total of three lines. It probably doesn't really mean anything, so I wouldn't worry about it.

ITA: March 27th
PR App Submitted: May 10th
AOR Received: May 10th

Application/profile status: Open
Review of eligibility: Review in Progress
Review of medical results: Passed - June 9th
Review of submitted documents: No additional documents are needed at this time
Scheduling an interview: Not needed at this time
A background check is needed: In progress - June 9th
A final decision has been reached: Not Started

My ECAS still only has 2 lines.
