ITA Letter shows different CRS

Hello All,
I am very confused and here's why,

I got an ITA in Feb and after watching that draws minimum CRS score is dropping, I decided to decline the ITA so I can include my spouse as accompanying. I declined the ITA on May 22.

On May 31 (the same day of the draw) I changed my spouse status from non accompanying to accompanying, the next day I got the ITA but with the old (higher) score even though my profile shows the new (lower) score.

My score with my spouse as accompanying is still above the minimum needed score.

Now, is that OK? or this is considered misrepresentation?

Any help is highly appreciated.

I am not an expert on this but from my understanding as far as your scores are above the minimum need for that round + you explain this in the LOE, you should be fine.
However if your current lower score is still higher than 413, you may want to play it safe and decline the ITA. you will soon get another ITA in the next round.

It won't be considered misrepresentation.

The May 31st draw included those who " on May 31, 2017, at 12:13:35 UTC..." had 413 points. Curious if you made the change prior to this time?

In any sense, as long as you have over 413 points with the changes, document the situation in a LoE and submit it with your application. I'd think you'll be fine.

The officer will check 67/100, and the CRS
Write a LoE..and explain clearly

Hello Jojii, thanks for your reply, that is what I am thinking about. I know no one can guarantee this, but do you think the next draw will still be less than 420?

Thanks all for the reply, Actually the change was made about 15:30 May 31, but before I got the ITA letter. Now my profile is locked and shows the new score.

Like you said, nobody can guarantee anything.
However the way things are going, I would be very surprised if the future draws remain above 420. I think there is almost a 100% chance that you will get ITA again within next 2-3 draws.
So why don't you decline this one, but start collecting documents as if you have an ITA. This will mean that you will not waste any time.

Also it does seem that the next draw will happen on 7th June. (CIC website has a notification of maintenance on 6th June) and this is usually an indicator that the draw will happen next day.

But you will have to decide yourself. I like to be on the safe side. You may not want that :)

Good luck.

Hey since u updated the profile on the day of draw and it usually takes 24 hours to incorporate the changes, CIC considered your old score and u received an ITA. You may add your spouse and i feel as long as ur crs is above the threshold u r good to go. Like some one quoted a good LOE should be written

Thanks Jojii for the kind reply,

Actually since I already declined the first invitation I got in Feb, all my documents are ready. Is the next draw date 7th June? I thought it is each 15 days.

Thanks jackdawn for your reply. Actually I am so confused, on one hand I prefer to have everything right and I think of declining this invitation and hopefully getting a new ITA with the correct score. However, on the other hand, if I decline the current ITA, I am afraid not to get one after it.
