Hello,
I am a new member, I landed in Canada end of last year, but came back to the US where my wife is studying and I am working. We are planning to move permanently to Canada in the next 8-9 months. Your earlier posts were all very helpful in pointing out where to start looking for jobs.
A few questions. I have been working as a software programmer in the US for the last 8 years (BTech from India) . Would I need to get the equivalence done in Canada before I start looking for a job there ?
Which province/City has relatively large amount fo IT related jobs. We want to move to Vancouver or somewhere in the BC vicinity. But as far as I see Toronto seems to have more IT jobs. Also a lot of jobs advertised seem to be for people who need to eventually work in the US.
Is it OK to have someone bring over our PR cards from Canada to the US ?
