Issue with uploading RCMP criminal record check based on fingerprints

[Help needed]

Hi,

I got a message from CIC to upload my RCMP criminal record check based on fingerprints on my CIC account but my issue is where should I upload it?There is no space to upload on my CIC account!!!!!! ??? ???

I am very very confused. I have emailed CIC too but no response yet. Hope anyone of you guys can help me.

When you login to your MyCIC profile, does it show up as 'Required" or 'Needed' against the Documents thingy? Try clicking on 'View Submitted Application' which will open up the post ITA application and you should see the upload option there.

That's weird. Either you've missed the deadline to upload the documents or there is a technical glitch. Either ways, send in a CSE right away and attach the RCMP record as well. Regret the delay (whether caused by inaction or technical glitch) and request them to upload this in your profile.

as far as i know you do not need to upload Police Record from Canada, they do that themselves
you only needed to upload from all other countries you have lived for more than 6 months

Partially correct. Canadian PCC is not required upfront. But CIC can ask for this later and the OP is talking about such a situation.

I received a message on my CIC account on July 28th to upload it in 60 days. I sent them an email after waiting for 3 days but still haven't got no reply.

I sent a CSE citing technical issue as the reason and attached the RCMP police check along with a message explaining what happened. CIC website says that a reply will be sent in 10 business days but it took 14business days in my case. The email I got back said your document has been attached to your application and if any other information is required, we will contact you. But my CIC profile does not show any upload thr so I am bit confused what is happening but I got an email from them so I have a proof for future reference.

Should I just go to the local Police station in my city....and what should I say I want and for what purpose should I mention.....

Hi,

You just need to go to your local RCMP office and ask them for police check with finger prints for immigration purposes. It usually take about 2 weeks to be mailed to ur address. About the CIC office address, I don't know about that as I am doing everything online through myCIC account. So I upload everything on thr only. You can check CIC website for the address.

You don't need address if you are applying through express entry. Even if you will get request for RCMP, there won't be any address on the letter also.

The only option to upload RCMP or any other document is online only.

Please correct me if i am wrong?
