I got an email from MANILIMMIGRATION@international.gc.ca with subject "URGENT: Request for Passport/s (MP)"

This looks dodgy to me, anyone have any idea?

Were you expecting to receive email for passports on your application?
I got mail with subject "Ready for Visa / Prêt pour Visa"

Check in your CIC acocunt if visa is approved/success.

I am expecting PPR as tomorrow will be the 6th month since AOR.
I have seen everyone receive PPR from IRCC.CPCO-FinalRequest-CTDO-DemandeFinale.IRCC@cic.gc.ca
My visa office is in Manila.
Can this be right?

Thats the email address i too received. But it can change..

If its a valid email, you will have your case ID, application ID number available and steps to send passport through VFS etc...and you will have application details updated in your CIC account.

This is okay. You are getting the request directly from the Visa office. My friend received their email directly from their visa office. And have now gotten back their passports with the visa in it. "international.gc.ca" is the authentic domain for Canadian Embassies and High Commissions.

Edit: whenever you're worried about a scam just type in the email address in google.

The email ended up in the junk folder and the sending address as well as the subject seemed so uncommon at first!
