Expected time to oath is 7 months, you're getting close to it, so maybe IRCC will speed up the other checks (which can be done in a day for an "easy" application).
But many can exceed this timeframe. That can be your case, no-one knows at this point.
All you can do at this point is to wait. If you want, ask for your CGMS notes...

GCMS (I always mix the C and G here, apologies!) is the internal system used by IRCC for all their applications, including the citizenship ones. It will contain all the work done on your application, so asking for them (through the Privacy act would be free, 5$ under the access to information act) will tell you the current state of your application. It can potentially be useless, but if you don't want to just wait idly, that's the only move you can really do. Well, that and calling IRCC, where a agent will look at the same notes and tell you not to worry.
