Is this enough evidence to apply for outland spousal sponsorship

I met a mexican woman online in June 2022, we talked and Hit it off very well.

In Feb of 2023 she came to Canada to spend 3 weeks with me to see if things can more and worked out great.

Nov 2023 she came to Canada again for 3 month as we lived together and did couples things. Got married in January. Small wedding with a few friends and no family as hers are in Mexico and mine are in New Zealand and Australia. The wedding was kinda rushed with a few implications. We thought she was able to stay for 6 month so the original spring wedding didn't work. And her mother suffered some surgery complications and raked up 3.5k bill. I ended up paying out of the wedding budget so when I say a modest wedding it was very small, 7 people in total in a restaurant. So I get it, it doesn't look good. We do have pictures of the wedding and pictures of us out and about.

August 2024 I went to Mexico to spend a month with my wife and meet her family and experience the culture. We have lots of family photos from this trip.

In-between being together in person we message each other everyday on whatsapp.

We're planning another trip for her to come to Canada trying to time it right for when my mother comes to Canada so they could meet some where between april-may 2025.

The relationship is 2.5 years long and almost married for 1 year already.

Its been a financial challenge with saving for flights let alone having a proper wedding ceremony which we still want to have and have family attend.
Is this enough for family class spouse sponsorship? We just want to get our married life started I'm 37 and she's 33 we also want to start saving up for having kids while we still can.
or is inland sponsorship better? all the immigration policy changes before next years election is hard to keep up.

Thanks

Jack

1. Can you sponsor your wife ? Go through that link to see what case applies to you best.
https://www.canada.ca/en/immigration-refugees-citizenship/services/application/application-forms-guides/guide-5289-sponsor-your-spouse-common-law-partner-conjugal-partner-dependent-child-complete-guide.html

2. For inland you have to be living with your partner consecutively for at least a year.you will need proof like rent the both of you pay and license that show both of you are in living in the same address.

Not true. They just need to be residing together in Canada to apply inland. The only one year minimum is for common law.

I'm still going to say apply outland because more flexible if she's not already living here.

Those who have plenty of proof often are the ones who worry the most.

Mine was 9 people (no family / no relatives) in an apartment we rented. It had a lovely garden for the ceremony but was still a tiny wedding with none of our family or relatives able to come (covid lockdowns). There's a box for a short explanation.

Point is, I'm sure they've seen their fair share of wedding plans that didn't pan out due to circumstances (especially in the last few years).

Good luck!
