OK I have a question. I have a history of hypertension for the last 1.5 year. I consulted a heart specialist, he suggested lots of tests (blood, urine, ECG, echo etc.) and thankfully all came normal. he suspected family history a culprit and prescribed "verapamil" to control my BP which I am taking regularly.
Although I am far away from medicals but I need suggestion what I can do now. I am thinking of multiple scenarios and need u guyz advice.
First, I tell DMP abt my problem and show him the reports. what will DMP do? will he advise more tests and will this cause a delay for my app?
second, I don't tell DMP abt this problem and try to control my BP on test day. but I wonder will my urine test will give away medication intake? do they check urine for drug use ??
third, a bit risky, I stop taking medicine a month ago. I think a month is enough time for medication effects to go away from urine. I try to control my BP by other means and then go for medical and just don't tell DMP abt hypertension history?
I know hiding is not a good move but I just don't want to volunteer the information that will delay my case.
any advice?
