now mohit,wht u saying is a bit confusing.
i mean wht is this all about 45days and 60 days??
can u plzzz elaborate???

actually you can do your medical wherever you are,it could in the US or where you permanently leave.

@kane
i will be in US on B1 for 3months,can i do my medicals in the US with visa office as NEW DELHI?
but wht if i also get my passport request during the same time??

zeba,

I am in US too and my case is in delhi. I will take medical test in US itself but will try to send my passports with my husband to delhi...

that is what i think .

also, if your travelling for 3 months only keep in mind that even if you send passports via some friend to New delhi you might not get it back in 2 months

As I replied to u in the other forum...
U can do your meds early, but remember, when the visa will be issued, it'll be 'valid' for 01 yrs. to the meds date. That might push you into a problem [for landing], if the visa is delayed.

The wise thing is to do meds when asked for. U can do it in US as well. Yes, with that mail notification about your absence from home country, CHC'll touch-base with u thru emails.

Qorax

zeba812 it is your responsibility to notify your visa office about your address change and even if you don't change your address,you can ask family or friends to forward it to you in the US ASAP.
