Any posts on examples of misrepresentation cases? I find this part of the application quite scary. Not because I am intending to lie about anything, but because there are some "grey areas" that aren't explained from Cic and I feel that you can be blamed for misrepresentation just from a misunderstanding of any of their questions.

If there are no active posts about this, then how about we start one in order to avoid such an unfortunate and quite serious consequence?

Here's one. http://www.canadavisa.com/canada-immigration-discussion-board/received-letter-from-cic-to-respond-to-misrepresentation-please-help-t401328.0.html

Be 100% honest on your answers, that is the best advice I can tell you.

I am more worried about accidentally leaving stuff out.
I guess an important backup in the application is the Letter of Explanation?

Thanks KrytOn, seems to be about one specific case but still something

I agree with you. My biggest fear is genuinely just missing something off.

I guess we have 90 days to repeatedly go over all paperwork, as well as the time before to list out your life month by month.

Spend some time now writing down everything you can think of and make sure your timelines match up :)

Also, make sure you have that secret husband taken care of first :p

Do we have to list out everything.? I don't even remember half of my life.

most of the time missing info is not misrepresentation. They will need explicit evidence of you trying to lie to them and deliberately covering up facts in order to get pass the application. It's a serious accusation and a serious crime.

Lines are sometimes not clear like "have you been refused entry to another country" if you say no while you had, then you have a problem. There's passport stamps and paperworks on it, you have no reason to forget about it, even if you genuinely do.

I am only 26 so which one applies, last 10 years or since I turned 18.?

And up until now I was reading your name as Krypton instead of Kryton,

I am a girl of mystery!

Also, it's everything you have done in the last 10 years or since you turned 18. So... being 26 you'll provide evidence of the last 8 years...
