Is there any one got BOWP based on Express entry AOR?

Just got off the phone with CIC. Bowp was approved on May 25, 2015.

Paper based received on Feb 11, 2015. Current WP expired Feb 17, 2015. Refused FSW application from 2014, reapplied through EE-CEC on April 28, 2015.

Made it by the skin of my teeth guys. Honestly, one of the most stressful times of my life.

Ohh yes my friend. It's unreal the amount of stress, in all of its shapes and forms, we go through with this whole process. A little bit of smooth sailing for now. Putting alot of positive energy on the PR now.

Yes, I received the hard copy on May 25th (BOWP was granted on May 19th) - might take about 4 to 5 business days

Any one got the refund of $100 on your BOWP application?

i have applied BOWP on march 18th, still now there is no process on my BOWP application, but today i got the email with attachment of PDF file, it shows

"there is no processing fee for your application, A refund for the overpayment of $100 has been submitted on your behalf. This refung will be issued in the future. If you have made your payment your refund will be reimbursed directly to your credit card. Please note that if another person has paid the fee on your behalf, the refund will be issued to that person

If you require any further extension of your status, you submit an application to this office at least one month prior to the expiry of your new document(s)"

i checked my CIC page, but still it shows Open, not started, not needed at this time like this, and I did not get passport requist from CIC

Hi All,

Congrats to those who have received a BOWP, sorry to those who didn't, and good luck to those who are still waiting.

My Wife completed her Medical exam this afternoon. We have just now submitted her PR App through EE-FSW. Waiting for the automated AOR. Her WP expires on June 24, 2015.

So next step for us is to apply for BOWP. It sounds like many have applied by mail, as the thinking is that it will take longer to process, which is good. If her WP expires on June 24th, when would we have to send the BOWP application to ensure they receive it on time?

Also, if anyone has any tips we would appreciate any bit of wisdom. I'll be researching more into BOWP tomorrow, these past 12 days since ITA have been a whirlwind for us.

Hi phrixus. No, I never received a second AOR (even after BOWP been granted, never got the second AOR)
My BOWP paper application was received by Vegreville on February 9th (paper application)

Guys, if your application has been there for 2 months or more, you can call CIC and ask for status. That's how I got to know that my BOWP had been approved.
If the agent refuses to give you information, call again and keep trying until you get one in a good mood : (I did that haha)

07 Apr - Medical done
